I'm surprised but not upset and pleased that the owner has had the balls to sack a manager who's lost the plot as well as (reportedly) the dressing room .. This could revive our season10
-
I always loved the fact we gave managers a chance
Alan Curbishley- 15 Years
Alan Pardew- 2 Years
Phil Parkinson- 3 Years
Chris Powell- 3 Years
other than Dowie and Reed we have gave managers a chance in my lifetime
now its 4 managers in 3 years7 -
This is embarassing, our club is becoming a mockery. He asked for survival and a mid table finish we are on track despite our poor form. Seriously worried for the club I love8
-
I fear Duchalet is turning us ever more into a joke club.
And his decision to not offer Riga a new contract at the end of last season looks even more stupid.
Good luck to whoever takes over the madhouse this club has become under Duchalet.0 -
Sigh3

Been confirmed on the official twitter. Statement in due course.0
-
We are a complete and utter basket case of a club these days.
No wonder so many are so apathetic.0 -
Not surprised. Not happy. Some highs and lows in his short stay but thanks for the highs Bob.2
-
Whoever the next bloke is, it's not really worth taking his coat off.8

Good, I'm normally one to give the manager time, but it was clear he wasn't the man to take us forward.6

Riga please.4

I never said anything against Peeters - but I will say this; I don't like the prospect of supporting a club that makes knee-jerk decisions like this about managers. It's quite pathetic really. He's been here 6 months or so, and had a great start - now he's got an injury ravaged squad with an owner who doesn't seem to be making the most of the transfer window. Hardly the managers fault.7

Pls can we steal Warburton from Brentford, that would be the ideal transfer this window now!1

Basket case...0

Thought he would last a week or so more...... but not surprised.
Should be a lively Fan's Forum.......2 -
Spreadsheet said go. Oh gawd, who next?1
-
Not surprised in the slightest. Wonder who's next through the revolving door of Roly's circus.
Would love it to be a non network man personally, but that won't happen as any half decent manager won't want to work under those conditions.
If it's not Luzon, it maybe Karel Fraye1 -
For F***s sake Roland. I've been sticking up for you big time in the last 24 hours. I didn't accommulate all those sarcastic 'lol's for you to do this!24

Shocking decision. A rough run lately but he is tactically aware and has improved the standard of football enormously. Why would another network unknown do any better?2
-
Well, I can't say we were playing well and that it's come as a shock. I do not like short term appointments or knee jerk decisions though either. If what @Fanny Fanackapan Says about him losing the dressing room is true though, then he had to go surely.4
-
Who would want to come now? Blackpool's a more appealing prospect0
-
Appleton?!1
-
Wow - let's see where this takes us.
His last two major acts were to sign Watts and lose to Brighton.0 -

Roland has taught me not to get attached to anything or anyone.
I feel no emotion with this sacking.
I await the next sacrifice he shall place in the dugout, until they to are replaced like a part in a machine.13 -
He seems a clever guy, why on earth would he come here?JakeCAFC_94 said:Pls can we steal Warburton from Brentford, that would be the ideal transfer this window now!
I've been pretty despondent about our form recently but this is just stupid and confirms we truly are a joke club now.0 -
Whys everyone upset bloke had lost the dressing room by all accounts2
