    Won 4 or 5 before that. Was well thought of if second string a year ago. Bunch of bad or unlucky runs = well handicapped.

    Terrible move by Bryan Cooper to try to squeeze through on the rail. Never enough room. Possibly cost him the race.

    No way. Cooper had given himself no option but to try to squeeze through a gap that was not big enough (IMHO). No blame on Mullins - correct use of whip, horse (very tired) only wandered a couple of feet to the rail.
    Stewards will probably punish him nonetheless.
