Two lucky fans will be the first to get their hands on Charlton's new 2015/16 home shirt on the final day of the season against AFC Bournemouth.
The club will reveal the new top before the game against the Cherries on Saturday, May 2nd (12.15pm) – a game which could have major implications in the race for promotion to the Premier League.
It will also be the last time to see the Addicks in Championship action at The Valley for more than three months and supporters are being encouraged to bring a friend on the day.
Any season-ticket holder, Valley Gold member or Red Card holder who buys a ticket for the game should quote the promotional code 'Valley1415' when making their booking.
The names of all those who have encouraged a friend to come to the game will then be put into a draw on the day of the fixture.
While the shirts won't be available to buy until later in the summer, one winner will be picked out at random at the Bournemouth game and be given two 2015/16 home tops – one for them and another for the fan they have brought with them.
As an added bonus both shirts will be signed by Jordan Cousins and Tony Watt, who have been at The Valley for a secret photoshoot this week ahead of the home kit launch.
Fans can enter by picking up a ticket, or encouraging a friend to do so, from the Valley Ticket Office in person or by calling 03330 144444.
The fixture has been classified as an Addicks Silver fixture and available to season-ticket holders, Valley Gold members and Red Card members with a purchase history of two or more games since the start of the 2013/14 season.
Depending on what zone supporters sit in tickets for the match are priced at £15, £20, £24, £28 or £31 for adults, £11, £14, £16, £20 or £22 for concessions and U21s, £7 or £10 for U18s and £3 or £5 for U11s.
So does that exclude anyone that has already bought their ticket for the game?
I assume it also excludes anyone that has a season ticket and, therefore, purchased their ticket thirteen months ago?
So a season ticket holder that sits in the seats being given to Bournemouth pays for their seat then thirteen months later it is given to someone else for the day and to add insult to injury they are excluded from the draw for a free shirt!

Just how difficult and costly would it be to find a smallish manufacturer in say China that would be willing to make a bespoke shirt in the numbers that we require ? I realise there are some ethical hurdles to overcome but I doubt our current or past shirt suppliers are particularly clean and entirely ethical. I don't understand why football clubs are locked into the Nike, Adidas etc cycle.
I'm sure that someone will explain why it's not feasible.2 -
It's not just about the shirt but supplying the whole club with it. This will include training wear and all kit for the academy, u21, u18, etc, etc0

Would that be an issue though ? I guess that supplying an item in umpteen sizes makes things more expensive given the relatively small numbers we need. So we are stuck with £45 for a piece of generic tat.

I have thought this too SHG. Particularly when we were in the Prem and had staff/cash/sufficient support to make it feasible. The reason why teams get locked in is because a lot of the time nike or Adidas will supply all or most of the kit for the exam free of charge. If you done it yourself then you would have to pay for it0
