  • Definitely that China one then.
  • Any season-ticket holder, Valley Gold member or Red Card holder who buys a ticket for the game should quote the promotional code 'Valley1415' when making their booking.

Surely this is the key paragraph. That implies a bloke who has just walked in off the street can't win.
But if you have a red card and have attended, literally, no games all season and you buy one for this you get in the draw.

I never mentioned a bloke walking in off the street which makes your whole point rubbish. The paragraph you say is key literally confirms what I said!
  • The training wear for next year will have the Avec name on it, so I'm guessing the kit will to.

I thought that too Simon, but apparently Avec are a brand that are owned by Just Sport (Just Sport own our club shop) and the kits will be Nike

Bit too bright with the red but otherwise love it (especially if you replace the collar with the one we wore last season)
  • I'll take that, if that's what it turns out to be.
  • Nike kit "in action" for China :-)

I would love us to change our badge to that.

Lovely - I wonder if we'll have the proper UoG logo this season

This with the proper logo of UoG

    Quite simply - lovely.

  • This with the proper logo of UoG

I'd imagine the main reason they didn't opt for this is because (at a glance) nobody would know what it was............

Could have the one with this logo and the words combined...
  • I actually prefrerred the version with the writing only. Nice and minimal...........

This is quality ...... But only if the sponsor don't start to peel off after less than 10 outings in it like my one this season!

  • 10 outings is just 2-shy of the world record for Just Sports single font lettraset kit....
  • Just how difficult and costly would it be to find a smallish manufacturer in say China that would be willing to make a bespoke shirt in the numbers that we require ? I realise there are some ethical hurdles to overcome but I doubt our current or past shirt suppliers are particularly clean and entirely ethical. I don't understand why football clubs are locked into the Nike, Adidas etc cycle.

I'm sure that someone will explain why it's not feasible.
  • It's not just about the shirt but supplying the whole club with it. This will include training wear and all kit for the academy, u21, u18, etc, etc

Would that be an issue though ? I guess that supplying an item in umpteen sizes makes things more expensive given the relatively small numbers we need. So we are stuck with £45 for a piece of generic tat.

I have thought this too SHG. Particularly when we were in the Prem and had staff/cash/sufficient support to make it feasible. I don't even see why they couldn't be made in one of the garment factories in the east end rather than the far east...
  • The reason why teams get locked in is because a lot of the time nike or Adidas will supply all or most of the kit for the exam free of charge. If you done it yourself then you would have to pay for it
  • Sorry fat fingers on small phone syndrome. I meant to say team. Don't know how it turned into exam though!!

So you want last seasons kit... again?
