Don't get why we need 2, unless the pre game entertainment consists of Dick Dastardly style skits called Catch the Robin

Quite good, I'd fancy the Valiant to slay any lions or eagles that came in his direction.

The camp look is obviously en vogue for mascots.

I think the Robin should be called "Rock" looking at his eyebrow

Wasn't our current logo - the sword , the outcome of very the same thing a while back?

Better than a bloody cat and a dog. On point but they should decide on just one.

They are obviously the drawings of the entries - I think the're both good nods to our history. Glad there is a Robin. much more relevance than a cat and dog.

but carry on whinging all of you.

It was open to adults as well, so you were free to send in your suggestion!

Important to note that they won't actually look exactly like that. They're just winning ideas that have formed the basis of two new mascots.

Genuine question, not at all loaded...but do people really think a cat and dog are more appropriate?

Yep, 50 years ago, and still not as good as the quartered shield and Robin on a ball.

No, because I'm not a designer, and wouldn't pretend to be, hence the generic designs we've got.

If we are to have a knight, I'd like him to look a bit like this

I like the Robin, but hate the Valiant. The two don't match up at all apart from the names. Why not have two Robins, after all its the red red RobinS that come bobbing along. Big disappointment.

That robin looks a bit cross (it's our national bird, y'know...).

What a load of rubbish, why would you let a bunch of kids draw the mascots anyway to be the new ones?

Dunno why but I always only prefer the nickname of "the Addicks"... the Robins make us sound too much like Swindon whilst the Valiants make us sound like Port Vale.

Least being called the Addicks its unique to us

Lets hope the kid who drew them doesn't read this board. Nothing like cutting a youngster some slack.......

To be honest whoever drew that knight is a bloody genius when it comes to drawing... I couldnt even draw that in stickman form
