Mascots are for the kids you nut, so being from the kids makes sense.SheedyCAFC said:What a load of rubbish, why would you let a bunch of kids draw the mascots anyway to be the new ones?

Today, some people got upset about some drawings of the mascots a football team will have. If you are one of those people, re-read this sentence ten times. That is your punishment.11

So are we going to be called The Robins once again?0
-
no, it will be an amalgamation of the two.Bedsaddick said:So are we going to be called The Robins once again?

Great thread.
A fascinating insight into some of our fan base. Kids have taken their time to create a couple of mascots (for kids) and grown men are caning them!
Well done! Shameful !6 -
What? As opposed to our current name of Floyd & Harvey fc?Bedsaddick said:So are we going to be called The Robins once again?

It was good don't get me wrong.5 -
The knight was drawn by an adult. I like them but don't really think we need both.

Is it the same robin that was a Charlton mascot in the late 80's / early 90's?0

Fucking hell. Henry Irving; making mountains out of molehills to score cheap points since 1905.
Seriously Ben, have a word with yourself on this thread.5 -

I don't disagree that a Valiant and a Robin are parts of our history but to me we are the Addicks, so a Haddock would just seem right. Non the less I'm excited to see how they will actually look come the first game. Wish I could draw like that!2

I knew this shizzle would sizzle once again!2

Has that bizarre double-headed dog just done a massive poo in the street?Henry Irving said:
So much for the good old days. It would never be allowed today.2 -
This would be better for a Knight. Half time entertainment would him doing donuts in the centre circle

What have we gotta do with Owls?1

....I just read the whole thread and, jokes aside, I think we should leave the serious accusation of being called a perv off the forum, specially when posts are being twisted to make the point.

Not prince Valiant then, expect thats copyright too? Perhaps a black knight too and they can have a scrap at half time..0

Does the Robin really need a cape..? :- )0

Also this could make for a good quiz night question in 30 years time..0
