As much as this is a brilliant bowling performance by England, there's been enough evidence to show that the Aussie bowlers are going to be a threat on this surface.

Oz have lost 5 wickets for 38 runs since lunch - that's Englandesque!

I don't disagree. Yet at the toss, everyone agreed it looked a great batting track & both teams wanted to bat .

At least we can get into bat and just pick the runs off without the score board fear.

Rogers was the big one. Hopefully we can get these last two quick and only be 50 behind by close of play.

Shane Warne just tweeted - "What's the odds on Australia batting again tonight & having a lead???"

Its a perfect track for test cricket. A proper battle between bat and ball. Unlike the pitch at Lords.

Oh god. As much as I want to be positive, this is England. We saw how they batted at Lords in that 2nd Innings.
Could be 150-1 or 90 all out lol.

As a shell shocked experienced England fan I'd love a weather delay until the morning.

Actually, it could. England bowled well, but Aus batted poorly.

I'll hope we bat okish, so I'll go 122-4.

Without getting ahead of ourselves, 48 overs left today.
Any sort of lead at stumps would be nice.

Think england will have a first innings lead of about 140, being pessimistic with that prediction. Probably 70-3 at the close.

I think any team batting 2nd/last in a Test, need a 100 run lead, to be in a strong position.

Don't forget the scheduled close is 7.23pm. (Mind you I reckon both sides will be happy to get off before then).
