I'd rather he came here and stayed here. He can spend his money, won't get to be president, and can have a chat show with Katie Hopkins and Jeremy Kyle called "life in an airtight container", which mysteriously isn't broadcast

It says a lot when the person in the UK's who's beliefs align themselves closest to Trump, happens to be some washed up ex reality TV star who will say anything just to stay in the public eye.

I generally like Americans ( I could say the same abount any country) though their foreign policy is poor in my opinion. The gun debate however is something else. Everytime they have another shooting incident, another statistic pops up. A recent one was that 89 people a day are shot and killed in the USA, including suicides. And after every shooting, the gun lobby ( and #limeygent ) turn up saying how great it is that everyone can own guns.
You have to diferentiate between Americans generally, and NRA. But put simply, no one group in the world is killing as many US citizens as Americans themselves. And they worry about Isis.

    Great thoughtful comment.

Quite apart from his policies there's plenty of reasons to dread Trump getting anywhere near position of national power. For example his attempts at getting into big Money gambling businesses resulted in his somehow getting a casino to run at an annual loss! The house always wins? Apparently not if it's owned by Trump. Imagine him getting his grubby fingers on an economy that operates in the billions. The mind boggles.
  • But what about all the radical muslim preachers here in the UK coming out with the exact opposite...?

Why aren't there petitions to get them banned from Britain?

what he says is true, there are areas in London where a non muslim or police wouldn't be welcome and would be in serious danger, I dare someone to walk down bow high street drinking a can of lager you would probably get jumped,as @ForeverAddickted mentioned theres these bastards shouting british soldiers burn in hell and burning poppies, get a £50.00 fine, give it 25 years and Ramadan will be bigger then Christmas here.

If they are British citizens different action is required, if they are coming into the country from abroad, you will find they are banned.

@palarsehater @ForeverAddickted I posted the link in this thread about the officers in London who came forward and said he was right but no one dared to comment on it, weird how the liberals pick and choose like that.

Here it is again FYI http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3352406/Scotland-Yard-mocks-Trump-s-claims-London-police-terrified-Muslim-areas-officers-claim-tycoon-RIGHT.html

Shouldn't we be concentrating on those already here though...

We're happy to try and ban those from coming into the Country but they try because we're so soft, if we put more effort into problems already on our doorstep rather than potential issues, the radials might think twice
  • During World War Two, any German that was found to be in Britain was either sent back to their country or they were put in prison, this was simply because you couldn't trust who was a Spy and who wasn't

Could anyone seriously see that being allowed in the present if we entered a full scale war with Syria?

Find a source that isn't a peddler of far-right propaganda and mistruths and I'll humour you.

Well we didn't have a problem imposing internment with Irish Catholics during the 70's

  • Interested to know which boroughs haven't put decorations up?
Have a close friend who is a serving Met officer who would like to know which of their colleagues are to scared to do their job so they don't have to work with them. To say they are upset would be an understatement.

Are you confusied by the possibility that British Citizens can be Muslim ? In which case where would we send these people ?

Again where do I say about throwing out Muslims?

What I say is if we went to war with Syria then anyone with a Syrian Passport should be detained or sent home... Are my original comments (partly below) so difficult to understand or do they have to be twisted to suit your arguments?

Life must be simple for you. Most of the people we are fighting in Syria are not Syrian. Some of people fighting with us are Syrian. The enemy is Daesh not Syria. The make up of Daesh is Muslims from all over the world. British, French etc etc.

Not seeing where your argument to intern or send back Syrians resident in the UK actually has any relevance.

I do have a genuine interest in this subject matter but not exclusively just on a religious note.
I had a look at the Luton active website swimming pool time table activeluton.co.uk/inspire/inspire-swimming-pool-timetable but didn't see anything that you don't see up and down the country. What am I missing?

just a little bit of racist right wing propaganda, or at least that's what its called by certain people thinking there more educated than other people, by the manner in which they speak to them, it doesn't make you right you just sound like a twat thats sulking because someone has a difference of opinion to you, yet they will bang on about free speech. all quite hypocritical to be honest.

The liberal response to Donald Trump's remarks really is beyond satire.

What happened to all the #JeSuisCharlie bs after the Charlie Hebdo attacks.

The same people that protested for freedom of speech then, when it was trendy, are now wanting Trump banned.

    Hypocrites
