I reckon it will be one of the managers who have worked with Steve Head and that almost certainly means Adkins .

Who would you all prefer out of Dilly Bavies, Slussel Rade, Heith Kill, Eve Stevans or Rowe Usler?

Rusler by a mile. Was really highly thought of before taking jobs at Wigan and Leeds. This was back when Wigan were a basket case. This was back when Leeds were Leeds. He has not picked his jobs well...so this regime would be no different. Known for being a gentleman and a scholar by City supporters.

But he's an unlikeable bald German, and he likens his football to "heavy metal" which will upset a lot of the West Stand

They are a relatively well run club with relatively good management.

I spoke t Andy Hughes this morning, who had allegedly been linked with the post. It was the 'first that he had heard' although he had recently been working as a first team coach at Crystal Palace. He may go for a coaching role at a more local team to Harrogate to remain close to his family.

Harrogate is near Brighton isn't it?

I think their feeder club, Daesh Palace FC, have good experience in Belgium, they play their home games in Molenbeek.

Journo from Scotland just tweeted that the interest in Hill is still ongoing, and he is one of the top candidates.

Charlton. Keen on Keith Hill at Rochdale. One of top candidates for the job.

he's a northern based football journalist with the Mirror and now the Sun. Seems to have good links.

Would prefer Keith Hill to stay at Rochdale done a good job there, I expect them to be around the play offs next seasons and he would no doubt only fk things up for himself here.

Looking through the list again none of them feel really inspiring, the thought of someone like Steve Evans literally rolling round as Charlton manager does bother me though.

He goes on to say that Davies was on the short list but never met with us - whilst endorsing Hill at L1 level

whilst the SLP said we have talked to Davies. Who to believe?
