    I don't get it. Why do they bother?! It's not even funny, it just appears to be a grown man pretending to be a low grade journalist. What's he getting out of it?!

    Actually, you have to have a pretty boring life to get your kicks from posting spoof exlcusives. Having said that, I hope it doesn't come true now, as it would be equally crap to have to post an apology later on because we actually signed him.

    Avoiding further embarrassment by trying to keep secret that no one with any credibility is willing to work for them I presume. Wouldn't like to guess who they've actually spoken to, but I presume the stumbling block has been the same for each candidate:

    Not sure what they can usefully say. The time it is taking speaks volumes anyway. Whoever they appoint will be a long way down any list and/or Charlton will be a long way down theirs.

    I understand your point and agree about time AB. I was just pointing out that they interviewed a candidate and issued a press release, got publicly knocked back and then... well, nothing since. They may be working desperately hard in the background, but you'd be forgiven for thinking they've just given up trying.
    You'd have thought they would've at least made an attempt to look like they're trying to get someone good in.

    Maybe there will be a voting system on the turnstiles where those in attendance can vote for the team and formation? Fans will also be able to vote for whether the club signs players based on youtube videos #uniqueexperience

    That is basically what has been happening but it was people that are never in attendance, instead they are locked in a Belgium stats dungeon.
