Croatia looking very comfortable on the ball, smooth passing, all in tune, no panicking even when pressed.

Thought their midfield would be one of the best in the tournament, first signs are that they very well could be.

    Quality team

That didn't last long. Turkey back to a lone CF.

Northern Ireland have 5 Centre Backs on the pitch, Evans, McAuley, Cathcart, Baird & McNair. 5-3-1-1. You would think they are going for a 0-0.

I would say that we're nearly as good as Croatia. apart from they can hold on to a win in a match they dominate.

they should of really won a lot more comfortably. Mordric absolute class.

Could you imagine what we'd do if only we could find a few more left-sided fullbacks?

Though, I wouldn't class Baird as a centre back...

Johnny Evans isn't giving Lewandowski much love, holding on well at the moment.

This Poland v Northern Ireland game is the most one sided I think I've ever seen.

Fingers' crossed we can keep it like this, but I fear that cards will come into play.

Northern Ireland just happy to sit in their box for the 0-0.

3 of those and they go home, so not sure what they're gaining.

Defending quite well. Giving the ball back to easily though when Poland seem quite happy to let NI have it.

Three nil nil results could get them into the next round

Steve Davis is an exceptional leader. He is all over the midfield. Strong and aggressive. Very impressive first half and if NI get a 0-0, it will be some result.

Or three of those and they go ahead to next round and play for pens.

    Most boring side so far.

Boring yes but they know their limitations and are playing to their strengths, which is organised and stingy. Good on them.

Hoping to nick a goal from a set play or something, smash and grab.

Need to get out their half first.

Forgot about the best 3rd places. 3 points should be enough, but if Poland can create decent chances imagine what Germany will do.

Yeah, Charlton tactics from last season. Do you think the NI coach tells them to go and spread out?

Which is a result of expanding to 24 teams. Some of the lesser teams who rarely qualify, don't have the tools to play expansive football, so will have a plan based on their limitations. The more teams you add, the more games like these will occur, where teams defend in numbers and try to nick a goal.

Poland could fill their boots here if they want to.
