They've taken some small strides in restoring my faith but I still ain't getting a ST and when I get my call, I'll tell them exactly why.1

3,325? Stand firm brothers we are winning. The searing shame and ignomy of what they are doing to this club will finally tell. Let's stand shoulder-to shoulder in not buying their Nike pub template replica kit and leave them with all the stock.9

Imagine What that number be if card called for a boycott lol
Even without the protest movement calling for it people are still boycotting!
Well done to everyone who has taken the hard decision.
I hope the lucky few who choose to renew next season enjoy the relegation battle and the copious amount of BS from the regime that you will be forced to deal with.
We will be protesting outside the ground on your behalf.

Got to admit. I'm still in that dilemma too for my 4 STs. Do I, don't I. Plus I was going to hire a suite next June, for a big birthday celebration. Now that is in doubt too, because I really don't want to give them a penny.0

F*** that Al, but ask me nicely and I'll sort your train tickets.Essex_Al said:

I got a call telling me I HAD been in an accident and they were calling me to arrange compensation. I said "fuck me I can't even remember that. I must have been pissed at the time".shirty5 said:

No phone calls about renewing my season ticket as the CEO is too busy checking Google again

The one thing I can't get my head around people renewing is that the club is now "Charlton Athletic" in name only. Bar Johnnie Jackson and maybe one or two other players there is nothing there that symbolises what real Charlton is about.
The way I see it is people are going to watch Roland United presented to them as Charlton Athletic.3 - Sponsored links:

I am sure Man city fans say the same but i am sure they would prefer the way thats run than to be where we are.forzajuve_27 said:The one thing I can't get my head around people renewing is that the club is now "Charlton Athletic" in name only. My son who is 15 will not go until they have gone. I thought I might have renewed for both of us in July but with his point and holidays I guess I might by 1 at the end of August I can't go to the earlier games anyway.0
-
not tempted in the slightest whilst KM remains.
I have had no phone call. I left my season ticket on the Bartram statue end of season and know they have kept all of those in the ticket office. Anyone else who left their ticket there had a call, or have we all been put on the black list, naughty step?2 -
No renewal, no call, no enthusiasm for the new season.0

Be interested to read the players marks and after match comments next season with all so many people not going to attend...0

I am wavering (in spite of some of the militants on here!) but will miss the first three home games of the season anyway so will see how the squad looks at the end of August before making a decision. I loathe the regime but supporting Charlton is ingrained into my heart and soul! I've booked transport to Walsall and Oxford so will be getting my fix whatever.1 -
Don't worry about what the militants might say, go for it, its in the blood!HandG said:

See you at Walsall.3 -
Wasn't going to but tried to but V12 refused my application although had finance with them past 2 season appealed but to no avail. So thats me done0

I can lend you the money - very reasonable rates. 1250% APR. A missed payment will result in a lost finger though.Beckboy said:Wasn't going to but tried to but V12 refused my application although had finance with them past 2 season appealed but to no avail. So thats me done

I got the call to see if I got the email re the new signings and as I hadn't yet renewed was I going to.
I asked whether I will get an email in a few weeks letting me know about the departures of players. She said probably not.
Told her I wouldn't renew under this regime andI want them gone. Once that happens I will consider renewing.
She said she would pass my thoughts on but couldn't tell me to who.0 -
I have received a call and explained politely why I am not renewing. I was told that all calls / responses are logged on a spreadsheet and sent 'upstairs'. Probably shredded by KM.0

Haven't had a call and took my season ticket home with me. I think they must be calling during office hours as have had a few 'missed calls' on my home phone but no message left.
I must say that I thought I would have caved in and renewed by now. But instead, each week that goes past makes me more angry and less inclined to renew! Not even the manager/players have made me change my mind.
Nearly 20 years as a season ticket holder and at the moment I cannot see myself going back to The Valley until Roland, Miere et al are gone!14 -
Wistful works @SillybillySillybilly said:No call for me yet. Shame as I do want to tell them what's what. Not changed my mind about renewing either. Just passing the ground on the train as I type this. Not sure how I feel at the moment. Empty, wistful (not sure what wistful means but it sounds appropriate).
wistful
adjective
having or showing a feeling of vague or regretful longing.
"a wistful smile"1 -

I received a call about a car crash, I said ah you must be on about my football club.5 -
Not been called yet and feel a little left out. Would really enjoy the chance to tell em what I thought of their regime. Been a supporter since 1962 an a S.T holder for over 15 years, will not renew this season although its been a hard decision to make.
Old habits die hard so will buy match tickets for most but not all home games. We are where we are, and there has been an improvement in the structure of the club which is so important. So i'm reasonably intrigued for this season, just hope we end up with enough depth in the squad - unlike the last 2 seasons. COYR0 -
I understand that players have been told over 9000 tickets have been sold.4
-
No way will that be the amount sold!Redvaliant said:I understand that players have been told over 9000 tickets have been sold.
That's roughly the same as last season!0 -
LOL! The players have also been told they are playing for a club that is moving forward under a progressive and well-liked owner, has a much admired Chief Executive and a loyal fan base that stands full square behind the management.Redvaliant said:I understand that players have been told over 9000 tickets have been sold.
Anyway, the players will soon realise they have been told a pack of lies when they run out in front of about 6 or 7000 people for the second home game of the season, a Tuesday night visit from Shrewsbury!
