Must be such a relief to know you could have paid £7.60 to watch the game instead of £20!Pedro45 said:Bought my match ticket for the Shrewsbury game today (can't go to Northampton match), and yes, someone has got their season ticket in my seat! No problem, I'll just move forward a row - plenty of space there. It does feel strange not having a season ticket, but there you go; it will save me money this season as I doubt I'll get to more than 16 or 17 home games...
Any of you wavering - make the decision! I feel such relief knowing that I haven't succumbed to RD's rape and pillaging of my football club.
Roland sends his thanks.1 -
I wish it did cost £7.60 a game where I used to sit @Essex_Al . Last year my season ticket cost me £475 and I went to 18 home games. This year the price was the same. It is Roland who will lose money from me over the season, even at £26 a pop. His bad, not mine!Essex_Al said:

It's actually possible your seat might still be available after all.LargeAddick said:Blow me down, some buggier has only gone and bought the seat I have sat in in the East Stand since the day it opened in 1994. Hope you are happy with yourself.
I just bought tickets online for both the Northampton and Shrewsbury games in the same seat next to mine which was still available to buy as a season ticket.
Having just bought the tickets, out of curiosity I checked the seating plan again and it now shows the seat as unavailable for a season ticket, which I guess is correct given that a 23 game season ticket won't be possible in that seat aymore but will become available again after the Shrewsbury game.
Clutching straws and all that but it's possible they might have only sold your seat for the Northampton game? Still not right I know but it's an outside chance at least.0 -
Post that on the Millwall board and it would be chaos.MartinCAFC said:

Ha, you're technically correct, however Richard Redden in his book ' Valley of Tears Valley of Joy a History of Charlton Athletic' refers to it as the South Bank and I decided on South Terrace for the benefit of later day supporters. Hope that clears things up for you.milo said:RedChaser said:The Covered End from the old South terrace;

That's not taken from the South terrace - that is the 'Open End'0 -

Thanks and I think you are actually correct. My Mum bought us seats across the aisle instead for the opening two home games which were available as season tickets but afterwards were not. So all we need to do to stop the sale of season tickets is buy different seats every time making them not available when someone looks to buy a season ticket. Sorted.MartinCAFC said:

A little over 5k including comps was the last figure I heard.1
-
Surprised at how many we’ve sold, given the conditions I would expect it to be lower than 5k2
-
I renewed Henry JR and mine earlier, the ticket office sounded quite busy.0

The South Stand/South Bank was also known as 'The Heights End'0
