When will these bloody Brownlee's get the credit they deserve...
Whenever the triathlon isn't on they seem to be ignored and have never made the shortlist for SPOTY!!3 -

This year's competition will be so hard to call, but if Farah wins on Sat in the 5k, I think he'll get it0 -
Do they alternate winning or is one brother better than the other?Redvalleyeast said:Fantastic Gold-Silver for the Brownlee boys. Absolute machines.

BBC -"The Brownlee brothers are the most successful triathlon nation in Olympic triathlon history" - lol.
Can we make it to 60 medals?

Should beat 60. Already have 4 more guaranteed medals to add .0
-
We already overtook China in the Gold medals but we now equal them in total medals. Incredible stuff considering the relative difference in both population and wealth.3
-
Nicola Adams into the boxing final.
Piss poor from the BBC. Watching stuff live on One, they then say turn over to Two to catch up with the boxing. Get the last 45 seconds of the bout.0 -
Gold in the sailing0

The way we've progressed since Atlanta '96 we'll be catching the United States for Gold Medals in a few years time!!Fiiish said:We already overtook China in the Gold medals but we now equal them in total medals. Incredible stuff considering the relative difference in both population and wealth.

If only someone could do whatever the hell it is we have done with every other Olympic sport and apply it to football and rugby then we'd be in business.ForeverAddickted said:

Smashing them so far, gold medals per person in population we must be smashing it too0

Funnily it seems as simple as being ruthless and not having favourites... If you dont produce the results in the team then you get droppedFiiish said:

Whereas with England Football Team it seems to be a jolly boys club!!0 -
Prior to this Olympics, GB was already the most successful Olympics country*. We're now even further ahead of everyone else.
*How it's worked out.
1. Take every country who has competed in every Summer and Winter Olympics, since their introduction.
2. Rank them in order of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals won.
(OK, so there are only two other countries. But first out of three is still first, right?)3 - Sponsored links:

Plus the attitudes and priorities of the footballers are completely different to our successful sportsmen and women.ForeverAddickted said:

When I watch the Taekwondo I can't help remembering that old phrase:
"As useless as a one legged man in an arse kicking contest'.0 -
We have carried on from London 2012 and the feel good factor is amazing.
One question thou ?
what has happened to all that bad news that was on the news every day;
Is their a truce or has it just been relegated to the middle pages ?2 -
Just seen the Little lad on the Ten o'clock news in Aleppo
Maybe it was just me not paying attenion.1 -
Theresa May is on holiday so all that political stuff is on hold. Or maybe we are just better off without anyone running the country? Who knows?soapboxsam said:We have carried on from London 2012 and the feel good factor is amazing.

Annoyed that the South African got bronze after doing no work in the ten man break. His team-mate who wasn't in the lead group came 4th. Must have had a storming run and will be a danger in future.1
