Probably a good night for the security team to throw a sickie if they know the police won't be in the stadium to bail them out if it gets out of handChris_from_Sidcup said:Thought exactly the same as soon as i saw the draw. Baptism of fire for the new security team

Will be interesting to see a bunch of six formers tackle a riot...3
-
Surely they'll have to get police in for that one.letthegoodtimesroll said:

Definitely not a game for the 'let's go and see the new ground' day trippers.0 -
I should think this will degenerate into the largest display of payment dancing in town regardless of what the cretins do inside the taxpayers stadium. The Olympic Park is basically a huge open air space and I imagine un-police able, especially at night... rock on!0

Not sure on league cup ticket rules but i think Chelsea are entitled to 15% which is about 8k1

It really isn't a happy place this afternoon, down at the "Tax" as we can now abbreviate the Taxpayers Stadium.
Dunno who the ex-pro is alongside Green, not a voice I recognise, but he described West Ham's first half performance as a disgrace.

Lovely entertainment from the white seat stadium and looking like there's more to come. London's new home of comedy ?Addickted2TheReds said:Saints 2-0 up at the London Stadium.

Not sure can watch too much more of it though...
Too much laughing has given me the stitch.

"Is there a fire drill?" can be heard from the away end... :-)13

Before there's any post-match criticism of the referee, he's had a decent game.
Such a shame to see all those 450,000 fans in the stadium suffering.0 -
Should have been 30

Goal difference minus 9 after six games3

Three points after six games... only Stoke and Sunderland are worse!0

'We've got more fans than you'...and looking at the stadium the Southampton fans might just be right1
-
In the event that West Ham do go down, who would be taking the hit financially from the predictably lower gate receipts? And would West Ham's rent be amended accordingly?0
-
Hahahahahahahaha
Brilliant!!0 -
Just makes me smile. No animosity to West Ham really, but they did think they would be 'Billy boy big bollocks' with the new 'massives' stadium to match the sizeof their club. Gotta laugh really. I bet there's a few Orient also enjoying their run of form, lol.2

While this brings a smile to my face we really cannot laugh at other clubs misfortunes can we?1

In this case, yes we canRedvaliant said:While this brings a smile to my face we really cannot laugh at other clubs misfortunes can we?

The old school West Ham fans were never gonna like this stadium. The majority got conned into thinking their club would be propelled into regular Champions League status. They have totally under-estimated how much the Boleyn is and was West Ham. The manager will probably now pay the price for this stupid move, which is no more than a money making project for the owners and is irreversible. They're not West Ham anymore.18
