  • Whoever it is there is a strong possibility that we will be on TV - we all know what we are good at when we are on TV (apart from losing )

I reckon we'll only be on TV provided that we get Non-League opposition

i.e. We were in League One for three seasons, twice we ended up on TV (Northwich and Halifax) once we didnt (Barnet)
I imagine they're hoping that either us or Bolton will draw a non league tie, to have the classic "fallen giants" against minnows type match
  • I went to Chesham Utd's 4th qualifying round tie on Saturday - a beautifully situated ground with rolling hills behind one of the goals. However hard to see how they could host a club which would bring significant away support.
  • Sutton away, 2 minute walk from me.

Sutton away on their plastic pitch. Will not be going.

    We'll be okay then!

I doubt the first team will get a run out so it will be CAFC reserves v whoever. Yet another exciting cup game......not!

    spennymoor Town at home.

Even if we pull one of the minnows, Roland is still in charge and the regime won't get a spennymoor from me.

Nailed on to be televised surely? Biggest draw in the round, other than taking cameras to one man and his dog

Well there is always next year..
  • Really wanted Blackpool or even Coventry again at home.

Blackpool going away to the Valley would've been a brilliant protest opportunity.

The same Paul Ince who described the spanners v southend cup draw as a London derby.

Top ranked side in the draw would be fantastic in the third round. Unfortunately we have to pull them out in the first round instead.

Against a team we've already played once this year, and we played out a thrilling 0-0 draw.
