The Belgium20, The 2Percent and Roland in St Truiden
https://youtube.com/watch?v=icLMlme9fzQ
As a group of #cafc fans the decision was decided that we have had enough of Roland causing us grief and misery in our local area and that it was about time we took the protests to his home town.
The plan, deliver 5000 leaflets clearly laying out the damage that Roland had done to our club, and how he has quite bluntly, failed.
This was a something we felt that Roland's fellow St. Truidan's deserved to know.
Through a lot of planning and funded from our own pockets, we successfully posted this message to basically every home and local business in the town.
And as it was Roland's birthday weekend, we knew that if he was to surface it would be rude not wish him a happy birthday.
Albeit a brief birthday celebration we could clearly see we had brightened up his birthday lunch, and felt we had done what was needed and got back to spreading the word around town.
We hope that our efforts and with CARD's #TaxiforRoland we have given Roland a truly unique birthday experience, and hope to here from him Tuesday evening {...}.
#cafc fans, are incredible, RDOut, they picked the wrong club.
And this was filmed as Charlton were kicking off and the cafe didn't have the game on sky, but of course he watches every game, Katrien wouldn't lie to us, he's obviously recorded it on sky plus.

That is Class
Well done to everyone! 3 -
Getting good responses from the locals including Standard and STTV fans none of whom like Roland either.
Taxi getting a lot of attention.36 -
Well done guys, did he refuse to speak to you?0
-
This is superb, hats off to you guys2

They didn't want to step over the line, they made there point then left. He was visibly annoyed and got straight on the phone to someone. Lots of discussions were had about what to do but it was decided to be peaceful and non confrontational.Nug said:Well done guys, did he refuse to speak to you?
Although when he returned to his flat he may find a few leaflets HA HA
Along with 5000 houses and almost 30k people coverage!46 -
Katrien is a liar! Will she say this is the first game he has missed! She went into a lot of detail spouting crap about the live feeds the Football League puts on on Talk Sport. Now if her position was, he doesn't have to watch, he pays others to run the club, ok - but she says he watches us and we know he doesn't. LIAR, LIAR, LIAR, LIAR!DanWilliams said:So, our weekend in Belgium.

Katrien, the ants are outside my restaurant where I am having lunch and they have a bloody big banner. They are shouting.
You said this wasn't going to happen.
Katrien, Roland again, I've just got home and the flats are covered with flyers saying I've failed.
I spoke to all the people I know and they said they also received a flyer at their house today.
I'm livid Katrien.17 -
Spot on to be non confrontational.number9cafc said:

At 1st I thought, ah I wish they took the piss and went inside and had a right moan.
Better you just done what you did.
Looks like your in confrol, which you are and got more worrying stuff for him up your sleeve.
Id imagine he was probably simply just really sh*t for him.
Pure invasion of privacy. Embarrassing.
He can't do anything about it either other then just feel bitter.

The restaurant was full and people stood up looking etc.. if they went in it could have been a disaster.
I bet that isn't his favorite table now though

well done guys, point well made and did the right thing being non-confrontational as that would have played into their hands.4
-
Brilliant again. Perfect in fact. Peaceful, humiliating and in his face. He bought the wrong club.4

Belgium20 Trip 1 - Banner in the stadium (arrested) - Roland heard on conf call at the valley going mental!
Belgium20 Trip 2 - Leaflet his flats and leaflet parents- The Statement and Katrien's rants
Belgium20 Trip 3 - Leaflet whole town and crash his birthday lunch - Possibly coming to the valley this week SELL OUR CLUB!
Amazing that most of this has been funded separate to the protest fund and it just shows how amazing charlton fans are!
Apparently they were supposed to invite people to his party in the square with CARD today.15 -
He's made me feel uncomfortable every match day for the last 2 and a bit years. He can suffer this at his lunch, I hope he's seething. I am, with what he's done to my club.33

Like to say a massive thanks to every cafc fan who's responded to this so far, we were expecting to take some criticism over choosing the non aggressive approach, could have gone further, but we saw the value in appearing out of the blue, at his ground, his café, and embarrassing him like that, it left him massively uncomfortable and wondering how the hell we found him and managed to stage such a class hit and run protest so to speak. Its great to see that everyone so far has supported that decision. And then for him to get wind everyone in st Truiden has had a leaflet with his name and face all over it, and for CARD to rock up with a massive public protest with the taxi, huge media coverage, typical class from cafc fans, couldn't of played it any better in my opinion.75

Oh, don't get me wrong, if someone would have run in I wouldn't have complained!

Absolutely spot on. There was no need to be confrontational, as the point was made and he was obviously suitably embarrassed.DanWilliams said:Like to say a massive thanks to every cafc fan who's responded to this so far, we were expecting to take some criticism over choosing the non aggressive approach, could have gone further, but we saw the value in appearing out of the blue, at his ground, his café, and embarrassing him like that, it left him massively uncomfortable and wondering how the hell we found him and managed to stage such a class hit and run protest so to speak. Being confrontational will always be the last resort, but hopefully his patience will run out before ours.9
