The Belgium20, The 2Percent and Roland in St Truiden

No idea who this intrepid group of urban guerillas are, but I understand they represent my aspirations for the future of our football club, and are doing something to try to bring about positive change.
I suspect, during thier previous visits, they've made connections with locals, many of whom share in our derision of RD, who are happy to leak information in order to assist the protests.
Congratulations and a big thank you to all involved.32 -
absolute class. well done2

Top job, you got this just right. Well done.2
-
Well done for holding back. Can't say I would have been able to do it.2
-
Well Done all I wonder what he said to his puppet!0
-
Well played all. Hopefully the press pick up on it, especially him in a restaurant whilst the game was on. You should have stayed to give him updates of the score.4

Is this in the pipeline or a guess?number9cafc said:Belgium20 Trip 1 - Banner in the stadium (arrested) - Roland heard on conf call at the valley going mental!
Belgium20 Trip 2 - Leaflet his flats and leaflet parents- The Statement and Katrien's rants
Belgium20 Trip 3 - Leaflet whole town and crash his birthday lunch - Possibly coming to the valley this week SELL OUR CLUB!
Amazing that most of this has been funded separate to the protest fund and it just shows how amazing charlton fans are!
Apparently they were supposed to invite people to his party in the square with CARD today.0 -
I would say get ready for a valley protest today tomorrow or Wednesday.J BLOCK said:

Excellent job. There was no need to be confrontational, you embarrassed him in front of his family and in a public restaurant, these kinds of things may well hurt him more than confronting him, as he can't try to claim the moral high ground. Charlton fans continue to amaze.11

Brilliant, well done guys on behalf of 98% of Charlton fans10

Thank-you all . You are special. Keep it non confrontational and when they try and play the victim, which they will, they will get far less support. Magnificent effort. I'm confident RD will be gone in 12 months.6

CARD and B20 Working together. Now we are talking. Roland consider the protests RAMPED up HUH!2
-
Think you played it perfectly, non threatening, no confrontation just completely and utterly humiliated him infront of people he actually cares about. Brilliant.1
-
Excellent work. I'm behind you all the way.0

And if they care about him, let's hope they ask him whether owning Charlton is worth the expense and hassle.cafc_harry said:Think you played it perfectly, non threatening, no confrontation just completely and utterly humiliated him infront of people he actually cares about. Brilliant.

We met this guy while leafleting, Roly's probably taken a tip from him and buried his head in the sand somewhere

Class from all involved0

Spot on IMO, we know this lot like playing the victim, and confrontation would have suggested a loss of control. Instead, you bossed it5

CARD now reporting on Twitter he is "Upset" no idea why though

Best stunt yet, well done to all involved.
Non confrontational is the way forward as others have said. It's essential we do not allow them to take any kind of moral high ground6 -
He has to crack eventually!1

Fantastic work by all involved, The 2 Percent and CARD.
Sadly, any protests at The Valley, as good as they have been, are easy for him to ignore or be dismissed by Katrien Meire. Humiliating both of them in their homeland really is the only way forward and in my opinion is the quickest route to forcing them out of our club.37 -
Absolutely bloody genius.0

10 out of 10 chaps, it couldn't have been better.
He can't have been kept abreast of the group's well publicised plans, can he?
Somebody's got to cop it for that haven't they?
If he plonked himself down in the restaurant window and knew this lot would be in town he has the hide of a rhino.
If that was Mrs D seated next to him, he'll have got a left earful, she looked horrified. She'll be pointing out at length that she has to live in that town too and would like to be able to have lunch without being the local laughing stock.
I wonder whether that level of public humiliation stacks up alongside "1.5% of my business interests". Gaviscon anybody?
In stark contrast, I lunched last month at a table adjacent to where West Ham's co-chairman was lunching with his wife, (retail successful) daughter and other family members. He and his regime may not be hugely popular with all hammers fans but his meal wasn't garnished with bitter humiliation or a serving of ridicule.
I'll be tuning in again later for an update on today's events.
Great work!14
