I'm so very very sorry to hear this sad news, no words will bring comfort right now and although time is a healer the pain you must be experiencing now is uncomprehending. RIP Liam, my sincere condolences to you Sam and to Liams' family and friends.1

Although I doubt that Sam will be at the match on Saturday, a minute's applause on the 29th minute would be an apt tribute to Liam which his Mum would appreciate SO much.
Thanks again

Thank you so much Jean xx Reading your kind words reminded me of when Liam had to go & find Therry Racon who had got lost on the way to one of your meetings & eventually found him in a supermarket car park !! #happydays xxFanny Fanackapan said:I was privileged to know Liam, albeit via his lovely Mum, and he was indeed a beautiful soul.
I cannot begin to imagine how Sam & her family are feeling at this moment in time & my heart goes out to her.
I was SO hoping for a win on Saturday for them both as Liam was due to attend this match although he no longer lived in the South.
His spirit will be in the Covered End for as long as it stands and he will be fondly remembered.
Sleep tight, dear Liam.7 -
Thank you Rick, much appreciated xAirman Brown said:Really sad for you and the rest of the family, Julie. Awful thing to happen. All your friends at Charlton will be thinking of you.

Joey Newmarket Joe Meadows is my Facebook name. Damian has been in contact with me throughout the day regarding this incredible kind gesture & I have been informed that the shared status has been shared hundreds of times by various supporters, including several CAFC players & celebrities (I'm not on Twitter). Damian has asked the club to arrange a moment of applause at the 29th minute during Saturdays game at home to Scunthorpe - Scunthorpe have also agreed to support the applause.guinnessaddick said:
CAFC, Damian believes, would like to include some information about Liam & a picture for the screen. My whole family are completely overwhelmed by the extreme kindness & thoughtfulness shown & for doing our boy proud during these darkest of days & I will be contacting @Ollywozere tomorrow.
Family members, including myself, visited Liam today & I told him about all the kind messages on here & what is being planned for Saturday which brought me great comfort. Thank you SO much to each & everyone of you from the bottom of my shattered heart x26 -

I had been waiting to hear back from @StubleyAddick as to whether the applause and Liam's picture on the screen were confirmed by our club and then I would have emailed you to see whether you felt you could make it to the match.
Will be in touch before then.
Stay strong & take care

Thank you so much Jean. I should've added that all my family will be attending also, it's what Liam would have wanted & I can't think of a more fitting tribute to him as he loved Charlton so much & will be there in spirit on what I hope will be a very special day pending arrangements with CAFC. xFanny Fanackapan said:

Why, why, why. Only God knows. RIP young fellow Addick, my thoughts and condolences to his mum, his family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.1

So very, very sad to read this, puts all of the other bollocks that goes on here into very sharp perspective, none of it amounts to a hill of beans compares to what really matters in life.
Many condolences for your loss, your son looked a fine young man, sometimes life is just plain wretched and there are no words at all.5
