It's all going pear shaped. 87-3 with DBD gone for 38.

Went off for bad light & assumed that would be it, but they've been back out for half hour. Up to 238/8 thus far

Toss uncontested - Kent will bat. Harris comes in for Claydon.

Bell-Drummond, Dickson, Denly, Northeast, Gidman, Stevens, Rouse, Parnell, Harris, Tredwell, Coles.

That seam attack is sensational but just look at that tail with Tredders at 10 (he's opened in the CC before) and Coles at number 11.

Now I've said that we will probably be 80 all out!

    What does toss uncontested mean?

The away side has the option of putting the home side into bat. They can either take this option or toss a coin

Notts hit 447 with Sussex 11-3 already.

According to the bookies Notts are 8/11 to win the title. Just as well it's 2 up this year. Kent 2nd favourites at 4/1. the Sussex 7/1 and Northants 8/1.

As a Worcs fan I'm sodding insulted that Sussex are considered a better bet than us. They're a shambles

I'm not surprised. As a Sussex fan, I can assure you that they will be nowhere near the promotion places at the end of the season even if their injury list of 6 seamers reduces. A team of number 7 batsmen means that the batting will usually falter too as exemplified at Nottingham.

Brisk partnersip going on at the moment, 73/2 off 18. Hopefully break it and they have a little collapse!

Going better now Derby 113-5. Stevo now has 4 wkts. Madsen just passed 50 and now looks a key wicket.
  • Another 5 wicket haul for Stevens - Derbyshire 131-7.
  • 133-8

God with figures of 6/38 from 15 overs.
  • 140/9

    Coles with the wicket.
  • 159 all out.

    Harris with the final wicket.

    We lead by 100.

Good feeling to have a 100 run lead!
