Don't worry Kat is already all over helping out the agents, otherwise there is no reason we signed all the foreign players on long deals with huge wages.MKDinpeace said:
All of that sweet, sweet Lookman cash is going to be on agent's fees with KR in charge. He really has a player's agent's welfare in mind when discussing deals.LargeAddick said:
should sack his agent. Quadroupling his wages and a minimum four year deal is what we normally offer.MKDinpeace said:Not sure if it's been mentioned but one of our ITK bloggers has said that David Martin has been offered a 2 year deal and double the wages to sign for you. The guy who mentioned it is usually pretty accurate with his info, especially when he actually mentions a player's name. Last few he's mentioned involving us have happened.
I'd say it's near enough nailed on that he'll be signing for you.0 -

Watt not going to Lierse as rumoured SLP believes but "Charlton are yet to decide on the former Celtic striker’s future."0 -
I think it's fair to surmise that Watt would be a player that Robinson would like to offload, how likely that is who knows, he can't be on a small salary and it's hard to imagine a team from a higher division wanting to take him on.Henry Irving said:http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/sport/15303369.Update_on_Charlton_striker___s_future/

He'll either run down his contract or it'll be paid up, I suspect the former as even on a free who'd match his wages. Therefore a further drain on a limited resource.
With Watt, Tex, Igor, Kashi, Sarr to name just a few will be the limiting factor on what's brought in I would have thought. Unless they can be removed from the books either permanently or on a long term loan in some instances.
Robinson eluded to this in his last post match conference.
Hard to imagine what the squad will look like in 8 weeks time........
I'm not holding my breath other than will Ricky stay or go....... I think Sheffield are going to keep pushing.1 -
I'd be very surprised if KR hasn't decided what he wants, which presumably is Watt off the books seeing that he hardly played at the end of the seasonHenry Irving said:http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/sport/15303369.Update_on_Charlton_striker___s_future/

Whether he gets what he wants is of course a completely different matter!1 -
I agree. For "yet to decide" read "yet to work out how to get rid"killerandflash said:

Not so sure, just depends what those numbers are made up from! The players currently on the books aren't short in numbers.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Thought you lot would want to know, that Ben Reeves' profile has disappeared form our First Team Squad page...
https://www.mkdons.com/teams/first-team/
Expect an announcement later today or tommorow whether he's going to you lot or elsewhere...
EDIT: They've put him back on there...for now. Bit telling that every one of our first team players was on there except Reeves for a few hours until someone mentioned it to the club..2 -
I'm sure the Robinson said that he wanted four players in before he went off on holiday and I hear that we went away last week
Does that mean that we are, really, going to approach the deadline for people losing their seats with no signings at all, and half a dozen released and our Player of the Year not having signed a new contract and last year's Champions chasing him?0 - Sponsored links:

I have read conflicting rumours about where he will go.23 -
Not a rumour but just musing that Kightly released from Burnley might be worth a punt at his level. Suspect we couldn't afford him.4

Was a good player, but very injury prone, so should fit right in with us.Sillybilly said:Not a rumour but just musing that Kightly released from Burnley might be worth a punt at his level. Suspect we couldn't afford him.

Wouldn't, not couldn't.Sillybilly said:Not a rumour but just musing that Kightly released from Burnley might be worth a punt at his level. Suspect we couldn't afford him.
Edit: as in, our half-billionaire owner wouldn't buy someone like that. But could.1 -

I'd prefer Marshall but wouldn't be disappointed with either Kightly or James Henry coming in. Plenty of decent wingers available for no transfer fee....and we need more than one having let wide players like Chicksen & Botaka leave.
Expect we'll get none and let Holmes go instead though knowing our usual level of Summer preparation!1 - Sponsored links:

Have we resigned Roger Johnson yet?0
