Nah Swindon pretty much played their Youth squad against us in that final game of the seasonsam3110 said:
Hope that wasn't the keeper that played in the last game of the season for them, he was shiteOggy Red said:
Nathan Thompson has won Swindon's Player of the Year twice.
But not this year, though. Their keeper won it.
Only 5'9" tall - so regrettably, fails the CL height test.0 -
Semedo released by Sheff Weds.....0

I heard a rumour that Katrien has worked out that the problem in the last few years has been that we have signed too many of the wrong players. So to prevent this from happening again we will be signing no one at all.19

You could be onto something there.cantersaddick said:I heard a rumour that Katrien has worked out that the problem in the last few years has been that we have signed too many of the wrong players. So to prevent this from happening again we will be signing no one at all.

seems like even the signing of Martin isn't that close1
-
Dont expect him back - Reckon David Martin and Dillon Phillips will spend the Summer fighting for the No.1 spot which Martin will win because Karl Robinson knows him and will probably see Phillips leave - Wont be surprised if Rudd joins Preston on load seeing he's been there before but surely now is the time to stake his place at Norwich seeing that John Ruddy has already goneScoham said:2 -
Why would Norwich offer Rudd a one year extension and then loan him out again? It wouldn't make sense unless they see him challenging for the jersey next season1

Anyone else just desperately just looking in, hoping for just a tiny glimmer of something positive about to happen ??6
-
Hoping: nothing happening is due to a takeover being finalised
Reality: a few players, staff, agents etc are on holiday and the squad won't be good enough once again8 -
Will be stunned if we get him, reckon this is one where the club put it out there to make us fans think ooo look they are trying to sign good players but got pipped by a champ side.cafc_harry said:6 -
I'd hope we'd be interested in signing Messi, if the price was right, but like Maddison that would just be a pipe dream1

Wonder if Karl will be annoyed that another one of his transfer targets has been released to the press...cafc_harry said:2 -

People were saying the same last year about Ajose, we know how that turned out but same thing at this stage.0

Seems more realistic but I'm not ruling out Madison either.CharltonPete said:2 -

Apparently Gillingham have beaten us and a few others to the signing of Yeovil's Player of the Year: Alex Lacey

will become a familiar theme this summer2

Dont worry we're looking to get other targets over the line first...LargeAddick said:will become a familiar theme this summer
Then come midnight on the 31st August there will be a video of a frustrated Karl Robinson as he explains that clubs are demanding joke prices because we're Charlton and that those clubs need to take a good look at themselves1 -
Sercombe is a good player0
-
Think people need to cheer up a bit, no way are Gillingham actually beating us to a signing, probably just agent talk to get more interest naming us.3
