Just seen this on my timeline. With the caption 'Scenes at Kent'.

What's the story there then? Haven't been following your game?

It was the last ball of the match. We were 9 wickets down and desperately trying to hang on for the draw which we managed.

I see. Never rated the 7th and 8th slips. I'd much rather a couple of short catchers on the off side.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a field with 8 slips or gullies! If the ball had gone in that direction, I reckon they would have got in the way of each other, especially as some of the fielders wouldn't have been used to fielding there.

I'd have played a silly mod on and off to get in the eyeline of the batman instead...

How good would it have been for the final ball to have gone between 7th & 8th slip!

Gloucs trail by 43 with 6 wickets left (to avoid an innings defeat to Notts). Hopefully they should be able to hang on...

Samit Patel 257 no for Notts, impressive

Gloucs Notts finishes as a draw

Not too much damage done by the Durham game considering how it all looked at start of play on Sunday.

Worcs lost and Notts didn't extend their lead over us as much as looked probable at one stage....

Kent, the de facto county side of real charlton fans are playing @Leuth Worcs

Kent won toss and elected to bat

    73-3 at lunch.

the last two games we have been awful.
  • Said it last game, both whetherley and gidman don't deserve a spot in the team. Especially Gidman

Thanks for asking MOL. Seb came back this week and all seems good but, after 6 weeks out, he's going to need a few games batting in the middle and with the gloves to get him up to speed. Hopefully, he'll find some form before the end of the season!

Good to hear. It only takes one shot/catch to find form. It's all about confidence.

It's slightly annoying that having lost Billings for several weeks of carrying drinks for England in the CT, he's now away playing in the T20 internationals. He could have played as specialist batsman today

I see Sami Patel is at it again, 150 odd n.o. so far.
Being short and rotund obviously suits him!

Couple more wickets taken so now need to continue the momentum and skittle the rest of 'em out.

    Come on, Kent !
