    Wonder if Bairstow will laugh off Bancroft's drop in the slips or say it was "weird" in the post session interview.

    One thing's for certain is that, should Malan go on to get a massive score, Bairstow and the other England close fielders will be reminding Bancroft about the drop when he comes into bat.

    That's lovely.

    I've watched a lot of Dawid Malan in the last 10 years or so and he's the most graceful of Middlesex batsmen I've seen. He'd have got in any of the great Middlesex Teams of the 40's, 70's or 80s.
