Sorry @Airman Brown but must correct correct you, the Womens team isn't, nor has been for some while, anything to do with CACT, that stopped some years back. It's a completely separate company to either CACT or CAFC, owned by Stephen King.Airman Brown said:Good news for all concerned - just to be clear, though, the women’s comes under CACT. Unless that changes, he’s not being employed by CAFC, any more than Jason Morgan et al.

Thanks. I didn’t know that, but I knew it wasn’t part of CAFC.Rob7Lee said:

Question 1 - what on earth persuaded him to join this shower of shyte? did he think the takeover was a done deal? Does he read CL?
Question 2 - why did it only take him (as long as) 3 weeks to realise what a dreadful decision he'd made?
This must be takeover related?0 -
He joined the ladies team that has nothing to do with the Club whatsoever.A-R-T-H-U-R said:Question 1 - what on earth persuaded him to join this shower of shyte? did he think the takeover was a done deal? Does he read CL?

Apparently the ladies team are not financed by the club or community trust, so why our communications team give them any coverage is a complete mystery to me.2

I think its because the genuine good news story that the womens team is helps mask the shit everyday situation the club is in.clive said:Apparently the ladies team are not financed by the club or community trust, so why our communications team give them any coverage is a complete mystery to me.
In a similar way that Hummel who have on the whole been very good with kit design and marketing also paper over the cracks.
