Ohhhhh Jeremy Corrrrrrbyn

Is he the messiah, or a very naughty boy? Let’s try to keep things civil, as other labour threads have been locked and sunk!

Thankyou... my own thread!
When I told Diane she was over the moon.3 -
Keep things civil, and back our claims with evidence from reputable sources! This will be fun!2

He’s a different voice, not tied to big business. Not sure about his approach to Brexit, but then I am a remainer!2

It's a disgrace that he's stolen Nicky Ajose's song3

what is this all about? just checked news and can't see anything ?1

Yes please keep it civil, I get sent all sorts of offensive stuff. Diane nearly spat out her ecologically sound and reliably sourced cornflakes this morning when we opened this one on my phone in bed!27

Passionate socialist.....tax the rich & then spend, spend, spend. Never works out well.
See you at the IMF in 5 years time.8 -
He's unelectable, I agree he gets a rough ride from the press in the UK and I admire his stubbornness to stick to principles (not that I agree with all of his principles)
Labour will win Jack shit and continue to be a floppy cock of opposition all the while he has shunted them to the far left. Whatever you think of Tony Blair he knew how to win votes and elections. Corbyn I'm afraid won't win an election as long as I've got a hole in my arse.
The country needs a proper opposition and while the far left and students love him they will have a loveable leader of the opposition forever more13 -

He's caring.
He's empathetic.
That should see him as king, let alone the next PM.2 -
Evidence 1. Corbyn hosts terrorist in the house of commons and is rebuked by his own party for doing so.
"Donald Dewar, the Labour Chief Whip, read the riot act individually to three Labour MPs - Ken Livingstone, Jeremy Corbyn, and Alan Simpson - in his room off the members' lobby.
The Chief Whip said it was a matter of some sensitivity. It had been drawn to his attention the MPs had put the House at some considerable and unacceptable risk.
A Labour source said: "He had been informed by the security services that people with Mitchell McLaughlin were directly involved with the IRA or connected with the IRA. He said this House had been the target in the past and could well be in the present and the future."

Evidence 2. Corbyn takes part in a minute's silence for terrorists,
At an Irish Republican event in 1987, Corbyn took part in a minute's silence to commemorate eight IRA men shot dead by the SAS as they travelled to attack a police station in County Armagh. 'I'm happy to commemorate all those who died fighting for an independent Ireland,' he said.

I personally think Theresa May just gets bullied.
Everyone is taking their anger out on her. It's like they specifically want to bring her down...and it's personal.
Got f*ck all to do with politics.
It's just piss taking.
Return to being level headed.
Not one dimensional nasty stuff.
She's just a person.7 -
Evidence 3. Signed EDM after IRA Poppy massacre massacre blaming Britain for the deaths

We can get on to the links with dictatorships and overseas terrorists later.1

Henry clearly has very strong views about Corbyn's behaviour insofar as terrorism and antisemitism is concerned. Views that I share, even if not as passionately.17 - Sponsored links:

Thank you. If being passionate about opposing antisemitism and terrorism is a crime then I plead guilty.bobmunro said:

@iainment it's a thread about Corbyn. @leuth asked for evidence so I gave some.
What is sad is that your only response is the say "you're obsessed". Why not refute the evidence given? Maybe because you can't.8 -

Corbyn is no more a realistic solution to this nation's many ills than indulgence in cake and lager is to obtaining washboard abs.

I'll see your Cornyn and raise you Abbott and Thornberry2

if Corbyn ever becomes PM we are fucked.7

Just do what they do here in Oz, and make it up as you go along.2

Terrorist sympathising anti-semite Corbyn wants (amongst many other crazy things):
A united Ireland
Disbandment of the British armed forces
Open, uncontrolled borders
Gibraltar to be given to Spain
The British Falkland Islands to be handed over to Argentina
To print £1 Trillion to give to people that can't be bothered to work
I'm not a fan of our current Government, but with him in charge there would be riots on the streets within 6 weeks.
