That boat is usually decent. Plenty of away fans in there.

I bet someone will be looking for a spare
  • As long as no one calls it operation peterborough we should be alright

How about Operation Meals On Wheels?

Evans might give us the three points in advance.
  • Charlton selling out will probably mean restrictions on sales of tickets in home areas...unless the other 600 tickets are still available though I doubt we’d sell them now

If the demand is there, will they possibly give us more? I had to wait and see if i was free this weekend due to working.
*Edit -now managed to get a couple. Sorted :-)

In most cases yes, but that doesn’t mean we couldn’t sell more. A big away following encourages others who might not necessarily have gone, plus not everyone knows well in advance whether they are able to go (I won’t know until this Wednesday, for example),

I reckon we could shift another 200, with a bit of pushing from CAFC official twitter etc.

if they can give us more make them pay on the day, would be a better idea - although does mean people will travel without knowing if they have a ticket or not

Lee Bowyer’s Charlton will be supported by a packed out away end at Peterborough United on Saturday, as the club’s full allocation of tickets has now SOLD OUT!

  • Peterborough United have agreed to send Charlton an extra 261 tickets for Saturday’s game at the ABAX Stadium, following discussions between the clubs on Monday morning.

The Addicks sold out what we believed was our full allocation of 2,381 tickets over the weekend but, having spoken with Peterborough on Monday, Posh have sent a final batch of additional seats.

Charlton’s full allocation is now 2,642 and no more tickets will be made available, should the extra 261 sell out.

Tickets are available to purchase now. They can be purchased online by clicking here, by phone or by visiting The Valley in person.

Fans who purchase their tickets in person before Wednesday morning may have to have their tickets posted to them, if the extra allocation has not arrived from Peterborough by then.

Tickets will remain on sale from The Valley, online and by phone up until 1pm on Thursday. Full pricing information is available to view below.

If we sell out 2,642 tickets that will be a pretty incredible effort. Can’t wait for Saturday!
  • Hopefully, we will sell the rest of them.

The atmosphere seems to be rather negative at Peterborough at the moment. We owe them as we haven’t beat them in the last 6 attempts.

Be sure to post on your away followings thread @oohaahmortimer
  • Fair play to Peterbro

Sounds like the last few have sold slowly though so we will see if this lot go as well.

Should be good seats right behind the goal.

How is it that Posh keep finding more batches of tickets?

A good effort yes but selling out a Saturday away game less than 100 miles away when we're going for promotion isn't exactly incredible.

Particularly when it was first communicated we would get no more once the initial allocation had gone

My away record is abysmal, one win in 16. Apologies in advance for ruining the party.

But when you are a league one club owned by a cnut it's a pretty good effort imo.
  • Hopefully we will get a result this time.

It is uncanny how many times we fail when we take a large away following.
