Buzzing now. Having my 2nd cup of coffee then getting ready and heading for Borough about 9. After reading some advice from others on here i will be drinking slow today and enjoying the game...hopefully celebrating after dont know where yet. Hope everyone enjoys the day.
As for the game. It would be nice if we can play like we have done the last few games of the season and forget about last weeks game. The stadium and the sight of all our fans could either spur the team on or the occassion could get to them and we forget how to fucking pass a ball. Hoping its not the later. Would like to see Parker get his 1st goal today i get the impression sunderland are so shit scared of Taylor they will be paying him a lot of attention so maybe somebody else might have to be a hero.

Already heroes is a dangerous narrative.
Heroes to zeros in a few hours if we're playing the occasion and not the game.

I’m sure there are good supporters at, with one or two exceptions, every club but when I read this forum I do think we have a great bunch and I’m proud of every one of you, whether you’re getting to Wember-ley or not.

There's a battle royal going on in my head between optimism and pessimism.
We finish the season, how we started by playing Sunderland. The big difference is we have a squad to pick from this time.

I'm trying to focus on Lee Bowyer's words to me a couple of months ago when I thanked him for everything he had done at Cafc whatever happens in the rest of the season.

"We haven't finished yet, stick with it, the best is yet to come"

In Lee Bowyer and JJ we trust.
To Everyone on Charlton Life savour today whether at the game or watching all around the globe.
Enjoy the moment and imbibe the experience.

If they shut down Taylor or manage to provoke him into a yellow I don;t know where our goals are going to come from.  And I am afraid that they will do exactly that.
He is still allowed to score if he has a yellow :)

Takes some of the edge off though...

Fair enough they can put an asterick next to his name in the final score. don't mind that, or even an Asterix, let him fooken score !!!!

No I mean a yellow can make a player just that bit more cautious. If he scores I don't care what the stats say...

My betslip tells you that Lyle Taylor will score today, Bauer will copy our 1998 No. 5, Richard Rufus, and score his first goal of the season (and probably his last in a Charlton shirt) and Charlton win 2-1. You heard it here first.

Hopefully the Donny 2nd leg has gotten rid of any complacency, strangely would have felt more nervous about today if we had won that comfortably.

I thought I’d be feeling either ridiculously excited or nervous as hell tonight but strangely enough I don’t feel either, just down and sad (even though I’ve nothing to feel down or sad about).

Might need that early drink after all !!

    I’m totally dreading it.
So nervous right now that my arms are aching. Literally.
Hoping the nerves will ease when we’re actually in the stadium.

I’m going with 2-1, although not with any huge conviction.
Parker with an early goal, as they didn’t bother to mark him.

Dreamt we went 1-0 up after three minutes through Lyle but they equalised in the sixth minute... and then we were 4-1 up by half time.

Yay, a correct hugely confident prediction! What a time to finally get one right! I'm sure many others did too though :-)
