    Usual story. As soon as the media hype up England's chances of winning something it all goes belly up.

    Yes it's only one game but this was probably one of the 4/5 we would have targeted to win in order to progress to the next stage. We now have to beat one of the stronger sides on paper to make up for it and not have any more slip ups.

    The worrying thing about this England team is that they can be world class for 9 matches in 10 and pub class in the other game.

    Even if we do lose it changes nothing.

    We are the best one day side in the world and will beat any of these teams in a series and will make the semis. But we are capable of losing to any of them in a one off contest when our any or all of our batting, bowling and fielding aren't up to the standards we can set.

    100%, think we’ve just come in a bit complacent here. Sloppy fielding, A bowling plan that didn’t work and cheap wickets.

    An early loss might actually help settle the nerves a bit.

    Sometimes it comes down to decision making and at other times it's down to certain moments in the game. One can't help thinking that had we gone for a fast bowling assault on their top order from Wood and Archer with the new ball and had Roy held that sitter off Rashid, this game would look totally different right now.

    If England win after being second best for 3/4 of the match, it'll probably be much more useful for England than an easy victory. Root and Buttler have played really sensibly
