    Japan are technically very good so are prepared to attack which means we've got space to attack into ourselves when we get the ball.  We look good going forward but suspect to their runners, so much so that I think the USA would murder us.  We need to improve on this to have a chance of winning the tournament.

    Why didn't Japan's keeper use her arms, she'd have saved that goal

    Japan having most of the ball, but  other than one good save by Bardsley England have created 4 good chances. England still need to sharpen up but a well taken goal by White with a lovely through ball from young Stanways.

    I’m guessing they thought that dark blue and light blue and white stripes would clash so both teams are wearing their away kits.

    To the colour blind amongst us it looked like Argentina in a Scotland kit and vice versa. 

    Whois is the commentator on this game?  The most irritating voice I have ever heard bar none. She does the odd MOTD game and I have to turn the sound off.

    WTF is going on?  For the last 10 minutes of the England match we got the commentary for the Scotland match.  Ridiculous.
