Hopefully the younger generation will reject the obsession with guns. It might take a while but hopefully at some point there will be a tipping of the balance in favour of gun control.0

Tragic for the victims and families. No words to describe but at some point you have to stop having too much sympathy with a nation that continues to allow this senseless madness when it has a simple solution to hand. Fantastic people the Americans but batshit crazy in so many ways.0

I am watching CNN. Police are not releasing ANY info at the moment. One hospital official confirmed out of the patients they have taken in one died sadly. Various reports suggest a number of fatalities. They reckon it is going to be very very high.0

20 dead, 26 injured with 10 of those severe.The shooter is a white supremacist who drove 600 miles to do the shooting. Why? Rather than shoot in white Dallas, he drove right to the border town of El Paso, just a few miles from Mexico, which is mostly Hispanic. This pic is just starting to make the rounds. The Southern Poverty Law Center says they got this pic of the shooter's social media account before it was deleted.

Well, some Texan politician has already come out and said that gun control wouldn't have stopped the shooting. Being prepared to protect yourself (i.e. armed) is the only option.Stu_of_Kunming said:
