    Whoever the new Bond is, I'll be glad to see the back of Daniel Craig. His Bond had all the charm and charisma of a bowl of cold porridge. I'll believe all the crazy gadgets and ridiculous stunts but I'll never believe a Bond girl finding that miserable grump remotely attractive or desirable.

    Danny Boyle has today pulled out of directing the next Bond film citing creative differences with the producers. A real shame I reckon.

    The new Charlton themed Bond

    JJ playing Bond even though his legs have gone, comes up against the despicable Dr No ( our beloved Roland). KM makes a guest appearance as Pussyfooting Galore, a woman who just loves giving away her best assets for buggar all. Karel Fraye plays Oddjob, a simple man totally under the thumb of the despicable No.
    A story of greed, asset stripping,and murder of a South London football club.

    The new (and probably final Daniel Craig) Bond film is apparently called... Shatterhand.

    Sounds like a ridiculous title - mind you so would have Goldfinger at the time.

    Hope it's a good final outing for Daniel Craig - from his four I would say two have been superb and two very average. Hopefully he'll go out on a high.

    Quantum of solace has to be the weirdest shittiest name ever for a bond film.

    I know it sounds ridiculous but I prefer Quantum of Solace to Skyfall. 

    Casino Royale was an excellent reboot. It updated the franchise and redefined its internal rules - No more ludicrous technology. Fights left Bond bruised. It was brutal at times. Jason Bourne forced Bond to update.

    QoS continued the story and the style. It was poorly directed/ edited, had a stupid title and a fairly mundane villainous plan. But it was taking the franchise in the right direction. 

    Then Bond got shot, fell 100 feet and drowned. And was perfectly fine in the next scene. Or at least, his hands were a bit shaky.

    That’s how Skyfall started. It threw the work of the previous movies out of the window, and everybody loved it cos Roger Deakins made it look pretty. 

    Skyfall is entertaining, but it’s got a stupid, plothole-ridden story, and an ending that totally fucks me off (Bond failed his one and only goal but it didn’t apparently matter cos Judi Dench was old) which makes me really hate it.

    Watched Casino Royale two days ago.

    1) poker is not baccarat
    2) a monkeys head knot is not a carpet beater

    Other than that, fairly true to the book. 

    Quantum of Solace truly woeful.

    I liked Skyfall other than the soundtrack.

    After watching Luther for 45 odd minutes the other night, Idris Elba is no Bond imo. Bloke can't act for toffee

    To be fare , being a great actor never has been a major requirement to play Bond.

    To be fair, the change to poker makes sense. Baccarat is pretty much entirely down to luck and chance, poker requires much more actual skill.

    New film is going to be 2 hours and 43 minutes long

    Jesus christ no way I am going to a cinema to watch that, at least watching it at home u can pause it if you need a piss lol

    15 minutes longer than Spectre and 20 minutes longer than Skyfall & Casino Royale. It is long but i can't wait. 

    I just hope it's better than Quantum Of Solace because at that length it's going to be painful if it's as bad.

    I don’t mind a film being long provided the story demands it. I had to sit through A Hidden Life and that was a 20 minute story told over three hours. I hated it!
