    It's the same for me. I unfollowed him a long time ago, though that wasn't for his political opinions. That was more because I was tired of inane posts from strangers popping up on my feed because they'd been posted by an attractive woman and Lyle had liked them. I still see his actual tweets though because I follow enough Charlton stuff for them to appear regardless

    Bizarre. To be honest, my issue with him isn't his politics, I couldn't care less about that, The thing that annoyed me is the fact that his most recent tweet was a deliberate troll post which was written entirely to wind people up. Given that most of the people on his Twitter feed are likely to be Charlton fans I don't really understand why he would bother spending his time trying to wind his own fans up. Not exactly what you expect from your talisman

    He’s an attention seeker, simply put.

    Entitled to his opinion and entitled to air them if he chooses - but the way he does it is clearly designed to get people riled

    If he wasn’t injured and was playing each week and getting adulation, it’s possible he wouldn’t be inclined to be carrying on like this. He is used to being the main man, and he has to find a way to keep people talking about him.

    The way he comes across ‘in real life’ is impressive. This sort of stuff is just cringeworthy though. And I say that as someone who actually agrees with a lot of what he is saying.

    Haven't seen his provoactive tweets but obviously an articulate guy that matches words with actions. Shame some of the TV politics shows haven't picked him up.

    This... We are scoring goals without him so no need to rush him - Its the defensive side that is suddenly losing us games

    He is quite effective defensively. 

    In a funny sort of way I think that is where we miss him the most.

    With the walking wounded list being added to on a weekly basis he might have to be involved on Tuesday - even if it’s to make the numbers up on the bench.
