We need five or six wins too stay up.
Luton at home, Barnsley at home, Wigan at home, Stoke away, Boro at home, Huddersfield away, Birmingham away. All very winnable games

Wow !!! Surely our current situation & its accompanying dilemma could not be summarised better !

    Is Grapevine's name Benjy ? :-)
If it is he's nicked Dr Who's Tardis and gone way back in time 😉.

Maybe not in this window but is there anyone on here who thinks we consider looking into the forgien market a bit more. Not something  we have really done under bow's and gallen, but our scouting network seems to be restricted to the UK really atm.

I was with FFP rules and prices inflated on British players, should we be not looking to take a gamble on foreign players more now with the new investment.

Matt Southall told fans before kick-off at Preston that he had not signed any‎one yet as the players he has spoken to wanted 'silly' money. Whether their salary requests were genuinely outrageous, or  the current going rate for a Championship player we can only speculate about.

What seems clear is that to attract the calibre of player they want‎. Charlton may have to pay over the odds.

On a brighter note, the club anticipate making three signings this week, with Bristol Rovers' midfielder, Ollie Clarke, beings poken of.

Totally agree, gone from one extream to the other, when neither is 100% right.

Not a rumour but someone I flagged last season is having a cracker this season. Tyler Walker on loan at Lincoln from Notts Forest is up with Eisa and Toney in l1 goal scorer charts.

22 goals last season at Mansfield in L2 and 13 or 14 in L1 so far. Looks to score all sorts of goals too

    go get him ESI

There’s a chap in France who looks bloody useful. Adrian Grbic of Clermont in Logic 2. Big and strong, Austrian with a rocket of right foot and very calm in front of goal. Only 23 but seems to know where the goal is

Posting without reading. I heard Pedro Chirivella could be joining on loan.

Would be very nice. Bit of a slow starter in his career but was amazing vs Everton.

    Wouldn’t say no

Now that’s how you do a rumour. No messing about with vague hints and disappearing as soon as someone asks for a name.

The Liverpool bloke looked superb against Everton. Creative no 10.
Wiki says he’s a defensive midfielder.

He's a defensive midfielder. In the article I read about him it mentioned him being in direct competition with Fabinho.

However never seen him play myself, and maybe he is more of a box to box player and is seen as a Gallagher replacement.

Given it came from a random fan on Twitter I’d  say 99% chance it won’t happen.

After the playoff final, when Sunderland were assessing their team’s season on their forum, max power took a lot of criticism along with Honeyman.
