Looks like Bows and we will be seeing some of what we have hoped for all window - signings! Fingers crossed at least one other, a striker before midday to give us another threat in tomorrow game vs Barnsley.0

I've been saying this for a few weeks. We have been targeting players who got that formation rather than a diamond. Not sure why the switch but trust bow.Sage said:Signing McGeady would assume we could be shifting to a 4-2-3-1 formation more often. McGeady, Doughty, and Green all capable of playing wide, as is Williams.
We shall see, but certainly gives us that option to switch it up formation wise if we need to.0 -

Got the day off today, told the Mrs not to expect tea on the table when she gets in. Going down the Southall road and surviving on snacks and hope.6

Reckon Aneke is the loan player Rovers are after?1

Let the mayhem commence:

My brother in law, from his first marriage, has daughters named Gina, Tina and Dina! Must be a South Carolina thing.Chunes said:

I see this place is a bit more chirpy this morning which is good. So much business was always going to get done on the last day, always is. Really hope we can bring in JCH and keep Taylor.20

Feels like we are actually part of it for once.ValleyGary said:I see this place is a bit more chirpy this morning which is good. So much business was always going to get done on the last day, always is. Really hope we can bring in JCH and keep Taylor.7 -

A loan to League 1 might get him fit and firing again. With no fault of his own, the injuries have meant he’s lost his way with us.cabbles said:
I still think we need to give him a chance if he gets fit. Granted, he hasn’t had the most auspicious of starts, but Bowyer and Gallen must’ve seen something in him they likeValley11 said:Reckon Aneke is the loan player Rovers are after?0 -
Possibly but i'd keep him.Valley11 said:Reckon Aneke is the loan player Rovers are after?
Perhaps give them Morgan and Davison.7 -
Not sure if anyone has posted this but do we think it’s a goer? Be pissed if it happens.

If Southall wants to seriously fall out with Bowyer then yes, it's a goer.AddickUpNorth said:Not sure if anyone has posted this but do we think it’s a goer? Be pissed if it happens.

I’ll relax a bit then VG. Ta.0 -
I was sceptical but I now don’t think they’ll sell Taylor:1

I honestly belive it's up to Lyle (we all know it actually isn't) at least not till the summer. However I feel if he looks LB and MS in the eyes and says look I want to go that will be it and they won't stand in his way. I hate to say sometimes football is about more than just what the fans want to see.4

I have a feeling we can afford (financially) to let him rot in the reserves for 6 months if he so chooses and I hope that sways his thought process.CH4RLTON said:I honestly belive it's up to Lyle (we all know it actually isn't) at least not till the summer. Am "working from home today". Hoping for a big one.
Am out tonight though so knowing me I'll miss all the action.0 -
That serves no ones interest though... Would be different if Lyle's contract wasnt up in the summercarly burn said:

MS seems pretty confident thoughcantersaddick said:12 -
The smart thing would be to offer him a 6 month contract on what Brentford are offering him. Cheaper and less risky than any other possibility.carly burn said:

Feel like Cawley doesn’t get his info quite as quick under the new owners.24

The smart thing to do is offer him an 2 and a half year deal, on what Brentford are offering but with a release clause that is valid for the 1st 14 days of every window.Southbank said:

Cawley also said we wouldn't be doing a deal last night.
2 more would mean our squad is only +1 from where it was.6 -
I’d take that right now tbhChunes said:Cawley also said we wouldn't be doing a deal last night.
