Midfield looks unbalanced again, so far. This team selection gives flexibility to change shape without making subs, but it’s very defensive when in the diamond. Gallagher or Aribo both vital to the diamond for us as the link between midfield and attack and we don’t have a midfielder who can do that role. If Smith can’t or isn’t up to it then it’s a massive failing of the transfer window not to replace Gallagher.Deji is also no Bielik at the base of that diamond.0
