The Drummer went down to confront the idiot.EdgeleyAddick said:My lad, who sits up there and is nearby, said that this was condemned by all in the North Upper at the time.
He said it was hurled from within a group of 4 lads who are about 16 years old in appearance.
He said during today's game they shared 1 can of fosters between all four of them and smoked cigs in the stand.
He said they attend most matches, but seem to spend most of the time smoking rather than watching the game or getting behind the boys.
Make of that what your want.2 -
Reliably informed that the bottle thrower today was arrested as was the one from last week.
Also it was actually the plastic surround of the light that fell off the East stand.

Maybe they need to make an announcement on tannoy / programme / website...
altho probably wouldn't prevent it0 -
I thought this kind of problem was why we have cameras situated in the "Police Box".
If these "fans" sit in the same area every home match, then they can be identified & dealt with surely ?3 -
That still could have been nasty, I hope the club get all the lights inspectedHenry Irving said:Reliably informed that the bottle thrower today was arrested as was the one from last week.

Was there a smoke bomb in the west/NW upper today? Either that or we were seeing/smelling things0

Lyle certainly was on 🔥moutuakilla said:Was there a smoke bomb in the west/NW upper today? Either that or we were seeing/smelling things0 -
If bits of the stadium keep falling off, isn't it time to have a quiet word with the landlord?19

I’ve been back lately after Roland and it seems that our fan base is changing rapidly. Maybe it’s just a ‘new guard’ growing up and moving in but Jesus some of our fans are absolutely vile. I said some. Absolutely no respect for fellow supporters of the same team. Yesterday’s episode included some muppet a few rows down from us just behind bowyer shouting ‘sit down fu¥$ing idiots’ when people stood up for the penalty.floydroadfaithfull said:Where are we getting these knobs from

The Luton flare did give off a burning smell. The light fell down onto some empty seats down towards the South stand. Was about 70 minutes in.ForeverAddickted said:
When was this?masicat said:Anyone see the light fitting fall into the East Stand. Could have been very serious, especially last home game.
I made a comment just after the penalty about a burning smell, presumed a flare had gone off in the North Stand but couldnt see anything1 -
Sounds like an unreasonable expectation!oohaahmortimer said:

Have to agree with this, seems to be a growing number of idiots following the team now. Guy sitting near me said some borderline racist comments during the game about our own players.Danny Addick said:

I have to say though I don't think this is a problem only for us. There does seem to be a rise in popularity for a certain type of person and going to football again. It's probably an interesting discussion to have for another time though.6 -
East Stand, B Block just by the closed off section of seats. Hit the deck with a metallic clang and remained in one piece. It was taken away by a member of staff. The area where it fell was occupied last week and had this thing hit somebody, it would at best have seriously injured them. If it had hit a child, then I shudder to think.JaShea99 said:

A few people on the match thread that haven’t been for a while have posted saying how good our support has got. Unfortunately you’re gonna get a few dickheads but let’s not distract from the fact our following is the best it’s been for ages and it’s great. Long may it continue.18

The Luton flare actually landed in someone’s hood and was the thrown onto the pitch0

If the dimwits sitting in it can't even spot the simplest of offences why don't we bulldoze it and get a few hundred extra seats in?11 -

Maybe the "dimwits" did spot in hence the two arrests that will, with luck, lead to successfully prosecutions thanks to the video evidencecarly burn said:

Why he resisted the stewards so much is beyond me. The reaction of the people around him, notably the drummer, was making clear that his presence was no longer required. Frankly he should be thanking the stewards for escorting him out safely.Yes some idiot did light a flare in the NU after the third goal . Don’t get this flare obsession our fan base seems to have.1

To be fair . Most fan bases seem to have a thing about smoke bombs at the moment . Luton discharged one yesterday I seem to remember .0

Not a flare, a smoke bomb. Completely different thingsthroughthickandthin said:Why he resisted the stewards so much is beyond me. Was it a flare or a smoke bomb......two very different things?0
