I know this has been shared a few times and doesn't mean he's worth anything, but he must have some clout, going by the video -

Again though, he's there on behalf of other investors. If any money ever comes into Charlton via Nimer, I doubt it's his own.0 -

I have seen this multiple times - I don't believe he is talking about himself I think he is talking about Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Saeed Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan company/companies.If he was CEO of over 60 companies the internet would be awash with his name. it isn't. However we find the sheikh's name associated to the industrys Nimer is talking about.

I'm still not convinced or have seen any evidence that Nimer has substantial wealth - Just because you work for people or associated with them doesn't mean you have the same wealth. I also can't find any mention that the family he works for wants to get into football except the young guy - which let's face it, we are now 4 levels down the ladder. how much can he have?
Can he then provide visual proof of this? Nimer cant seem to.
Nimer has stated he has provided it again I believe.0 -

That may be the case, but surely as a Charlton fan you would want to see paperwork of that commitment?

I think we're used to an environment were Companies House tells you loads of things, but there is still huge gaps in that data, for example there are two banks in the UK with 5m customers, but you'll be stumped to find who the VC firms are who are invested in them via CH.
Not all the answers, especially in what is essentially a feudal system where protecting the dealings of the royal family trumps everything2 -
Another thought - I you were pending someone else's money, would you really act in such an unprofessional way? if I saw someone acting like that with my cash I would go Bat S Crazy. i would expect him to be angry if funds were being misspent, but i would want it dealt with in a legal professional manner.

I'll also add, that business/government culture in the middle east is massively different then in the UK, shitballing your juniors is probably absolutely fine1

He isn't the first and won't be the last successful businessman to act like that. Doesn't make him any less successful nor capable of investing money wisely.

Seriously on what planet does anyone think 'INVESTING' in Charlton at whatever price Roland sells at will yield any sort of return of note , how about never0

PANORAMA MAGIC GENERALCONTRACTING L.L.C. is funding the venture in Charlton and no reason to think they have access to assets which form part of the Sheikh's private wealth which is separately managed.
It looks like a private investment by TN who is relying on raising funds from third parties. MS may have given TN the impression that he could find UK investors and it's all gone pear shaped.

The man had a big shock in finding out that someone who he had trusted had shafted him.
I don't blame the man for reacting just as any of us would, i.e going batshit crazy. He is only human, after all. I mean....just thinking about that twat Matt Southall is getting me into a bit of a psychotic rage - and it isn't my cash that he's been pissing up the wall to fund his 'look at me' lifestyle project.
Fortunately, he has deleted the posts etc. and taken legal advice, hence the change in tone.
Revenge is a dish best served cold etc.1 -

But I tell yo what, why don't you come up with reasons why you poopoo everyting that anyone ever says to try and make positive sense of all this, instead of wading asking what planet they're on1 -

i'm saying no one seems to want to take a bite at the Charlton football cherry because it's clearly overpriced and the risk reward is not worth it
I'm saying anyone wanting to invest in Charlton would be nuts and would be on a different planet to reality
I'm saying it as i see it , it takes a lot of money to get to the Prem these days and a shedload more to stay there and people don't appear to be rushing forward to have a punt .
I only say it as i see it and just because my pessimistic cautious suspicious approach to the current set up has proved right doesn't mean I'll always be right but it looked a bit obvious to me and I'm surprised more didn't see it , sorry for being right

It's not unrealistic to think our best XI this season could have been - Phillips, Matthews, Lockyer, Bauer, Purrington, Pratley, Cullen, Gallagher, Aribo, Taylor, Bonne
Ok two of those players wouldn't have been ours, but another 2/3 decent freebies, couple of loans and then say 5mil invested and we could easily have finished top 6/8.

.....going by the start of this season, I'd say £50m for Charlton, isn't a bad investment if you put in another couple of £m over the summer. Could well be up there contending next term3

Then what you do when you get there is anyones guess , I know the americans who bought in to palace were looking to sell due to the extortionate wages, transfer fees that take place once in the prem
Best bet is to try and get up cheap pocket the money oyston style and run , to get a decent profit .... which is beyond horrendous1 -

I really, really want Nimer to be legit, legal and as a result the right man to take us forward for our collective sanity.3 -

We still have a few decent players but investment is desperately needed.
It's certainly becoming more and more a hobby for the rich then an investment that's for sure.
