    at a time of great uncertainty for the club Seb offered us a sense of predictability and hope that the club would prevail. You put a hell of a shift in, Seb. I never met you but you are part of my club.

    I used to see him in xbars pre match also at plenty of away games down the years. 
    What a truly horrendous year 2020 is turning out to be.

    Absolutely awful news.  So, so sorry to find this out.  I never met Seb, but I know he had a lot of "Charlton family" friends.  His loss is going to be felt for a long time.  RIP Seb.

    I only knew him to nod or say 'hello' to on a match day but the bloke was a Charlton institution.

    A salutory warning that younger people can be affected by this thing regardless of any possible underlying health issues he may or may not have had.

    RIP Seb. Your club and its fans will miss you.

    I'm completely shocked to read this. I never met him up close, but like every Charlton fan we all 'knew' Seb.
    I would like to send my condolences to Seb's Family and friends at this very sad time, my thoughts and prayers are with you all; 38 is no age whatsoever and this 'virus' is completely indiscriminate in who it attacks, and in this instance it has taken away a true gentleman. RIP Seb, you'll never be forgotten. God bless you.
