I have never met you Seb but often seen you at games home and away. But have admired and in some way been envious of your passion for CAFC. Who knows what the future holds for us but you will never be forgotten by Charlton fans. RIP
This has knocked me for six this morning, absolutely awful! Never had the pleasure of meeting Seb but always saw him at the away games. Proper Charlton legend RIP
So sad to hear this news.....he was a harmless guy who lived for his one passion, Charlton Athletic FC. He so didn't deserve this....life's a real f#cker sometimes. R.I.P. Sebbo
didn't know Seb personally but have obviously seen him around and at away games over the years, come rain or shine. Absolutely dreadful news. Rest in peace Seb, a Charlton legend. Thoughts with his family and many, many friends.
Many individuals make up the tapestry of being a Charlton fan but Seb was one of those right at the core of it. Countless times over the years you would be in the pub of some remote northern town, or far flung pre-season tour venue, look out the window and see Seb ambling along towards you.
He literally lived and breathed Charlton Athletic.
Seb will also be a loss to our community, won't break confidences but he was an active participant on here for nearly 10 years and made thousands of posts.
THe return of football for everyone will be a time for celebration, but there will be a real sadness over The Valley that day.
What an absolute tragedy, and one that leaves us diminished as a club. My thoughts are with his family at this unimaginably difficult time. I hope the club are able to plan a fitting tribute for when we can all return to The Valley, as well as a more permanent way to mark his incredible achievement.

Never met the bloke, but followed him etc. and loved the club's interaction with him etc Thought it was something they always got right.

I always used to point him out and tell my kids about his achievement of viewing such a large number of games in a row.
This guy will be sorely missed.
The club has a number of legends but for me Seb was the real Charlton legend.
RIP Seb and my thoughts are with your family and friends.
R.i.P. to a Charlton legend. Gutted.
A true Charlton legend
