Such sad news about our super fan. Ben will meet upstairs with Betty & Les and relive so many Charlton stories. God bless mate you will be missed home & away but never forgotten for such an outstanding support of our club.
Not the time but maybe the club take one seat from The Valley & one ticket out of every away allocation from now on for Seb as a mark of respect.
The Official Capacity of The Valley should be changed on the Official Site, Wiki, or anywhere else that records the figure.

How can the passing of a man I knew only by sight have such an effect. I am devastated at this news - part of our club has gone forever, but never to be forgotten.

When the time is right we will pay our collective tributes together, in the meantime RIP Seb, you were utterly unique, you were loved and, by god, you will be missed by all of us.
Many individuals make up the tapestry of being a Charlton fan but Seb was one of those right at the core of it. Countless times over the years you would be in the pub of some remote northern town, or far flung pre-season tour venue, look out the window and see Seb ambling along towards you.
He literally lived and breathed Charlton Athletic.
Seb will also be a loss to our community, won't break confidences but he was an active participant on here for nearly 10 years and made thousands of posts.
THe return of football for everyone will be a time for celebration, but there will be a real sadness over The Valley that day.
Absolutely gutted at this news.

We will never see the like of Seb again. A truly remarkable Charlton supporter. A fixture face at games and deserving of all the accolades. I’m truly shocked by this news. RIP Seb.

I met and spoke to Seb on numerous occasions, always a quiet man but very respectful and lived and breathed Charlton.
Today we have lost part of our family. The same extended Charlton family I was only talking about on Tuesday, when I said we must put our energy on ensuring the health and well-being of our loved ones. This proves it more.
Remember pointing Seb out to my son and his mates at the Carlisle game when we won promotion. Told them he was the ultimate football supporter. My son has just come in to give me the news. Absolute shocker. RIP

I went to school with Seb, he got my tickets for Wembley 98. Spoke to him on Twitter recently about a memorable away game at Watford in the 90s.
