I'll really miss seeing you Seb particularly at northern away matches a few hours before kick off, walking around a deserted stadium. You simply were Charlton through and through. RIP  we will make sure CAFC carries on for you.

RIP to a great man. Feeling extremely shaken by this.

The greatest honour to his legacy would be to ensure that the club goes on. But for now, let his dedication be remembered, and celebrated. A one-in-27,111 man.
  • Some lovely comments on here - I hope they bring some comfort to Seb's family.
  • any chance of the banner up top being changed for now, with Sebs flag...RIP to our club Legend

I call myself a pretty dedicated charlton fan, 49 years of mostly pain and heartache but Seb took that dedication to a whole different level.
He was a constant, if he wasn't there then CAFC weren't playing.
I would imagine pretty much all of our fan base will have known him or know of him which is some achievement.
Hope these comments will be of some small comfort to his family at this terrible time.

    RIP Seb

Saw him do the worm after the QPR game at Xmas. He was part of the very fabric of our club. Never met him or spoke to him but this has really hit me. I hope his flag will still be seen each game in his memory.

Didn't know him but he would be the first person that came to mind when I thought of Charlton fans. A true supporter.

Saw him about a few times and always had a smile on his face.

    Such sad news.

    RIP

Gosh I just saw the news on Newsnow. Said out loud oh my god no, the wife said what is it? I said Seb Lewis has died. Even she knew who he was from all these miles away. Tragic news and a total shock. Rip Seb, my thoughts with his family. We have lost one of ours 🙁

    Absolutely reeling from this news.

Devastating. Like many Addicks, I only knew of Seb, rather than knowing him well. But it genuinely feels like a close friend or family member has gone. Can't imagine how his own family are feeling.

We knew in theory this virus was scary but now we know in practice. We really are in a waking nightmare.

    RIP, Seb.  :'(
