Yeah - there was always a turnstile door kicked open and in you went - you could go anywhere - changing rooms, boardroom etc (had to take a torch) - I have loads of programmes that had been dumped behind West Stand - the executive boxes at the rear of the West Stand had all their windows stoved in and were laying on the seats in front - I even took a ball once and scored in front of covered end !!!ElfsborgAddick said:Lordflashheart said:
Don’t know it but aren’t abandoned stadiums sad to see - I used to break into The Valley when we were at Selhurst and it always made me cryElfsborgAddick said:
Was it easy to get into the ground then? I never thought about trying.Oh and I took a girlfriend in once and we had it off in the Covered End !!!hahahaha, best ever. You have scored in the Covered End more times than some of our strikers.0 -

The tower blocks in the background could have been mistaken for Lewisham.

A quick trip to the continent, and a fascinating build. Start with a communist era bowl, decide to redevelop it, and simply build a new stadium inside the old one...We were almost (possibly) a sister club...

Correct, had a great weekend in Copenhagen about 16 years ago. Absolutely nothing around the ground, but decent beer and pizza under the stand
