@ColinTat not certain, but suspect it might be the bit in the Romanian paper linked to in this edition of the bitesize: https://charltonlife.vanillacommunity.com/discussion/comment/3849794/#Comment_3849794

Trouble is mate that video, which we have all seen, raises more questions than it answers

He repeats the assertion that he "runs" 50 plus companies. Can he seriously mean that he has executive control over all these companies? An Investment fund does not do that, it invests in a company which has its own good management. Anyway one person cannot possibly run 50 plus companies, without having a string of direct reports. There is no sign of such people, on the ADBD website, anyway.

Then there is the question of why he does not put the names of these 50 companies on the ADBD website. Why instead does it carry the names of global companies like IBM, Shell, Maersk, etc, but without telling the world why those names are there, i.e. what ADBD does or has done for these companies?
Only posted the video again because you said you were trying to fathom out what kind of business ADBD was, and the video tells you, from the horses mouth
I appreciate you re-posting it, but it doesn't tell me at all, for the reasons I've tried to describe, when you take what the ADBD website says. And of course, Jonathon Heller's words on ADBD. Well we will soon see.

ABDB obviously claim to be an investment organisation.

Maybe their business doesn't need to describe to Joe Public what they do. Like I said before, they may operate in boring industries where everyone knows each other, and when a new project is in the offing, they tender to ABDB and the like, for investment.

I totally agree the website leaves a lot to be desired, but also aware that not every country and culture use website as much as we seem to do in the UK.

Just heard from a former work colleague who works within the club. Apparently rumours floating around inside the club that Southall is more then likely going to win this whole thing and will be back at Charlton. The IPS removal was based on advice from the EFL.
    Oh dear.
What a fun day that will be. I can't wait.

You've got to be a twat if the majority of cafc fans prefer simon jordan to you. Respect to SJ for calling him out, with basic questions 😂.

Funny, I just heard from a former work colleague who says that’s a load of guff.

IPS still involved... Southall has made untrue allegations and has no authority to speak on behalf of the club... Nimer cooperating with EFL and has responded to them. Once Nimer has cleared the source of funds we will move forward in a positive direction.

In fact I wish he'd just stop

Have to disagree ................ thought he came across with little to instill any confidence that he and/or his client are in control of the situation or have the wherewithal to move our club in the right direction. Time will tell.

I think him going on Talksport was pointless. At the end of the day, I know Farnell is a lawyer but he's powerless in this situation. Nimer is the only one who can sort this out.

  • For me it will speak volumes if MS doesn't call into Talksport today to refute Farnells claims. On Tuesday he couldn't wait to call in, surely if he's as innocent as he claims he'll be very eager to call in with his version of 'the truth'. I won't hold my breath....

Yeah come on Matt stick up for yourself you dont want to be known as a coward as well

as a thief and a conman

  • It doesn't detract from the issue that source of funds and proof of funds should not be this convoluted to divulge.

It is an hours work max for a layman.  We all do it when we submit a mortgage application or rental agreement.

Would expect someone in charge of 50+ business's to have resources to be able to provide this sort of info in minutes particularly after the kerfuffle it's lack of submission has caused over the past 2 months.

Something feels off.  The lawyer's response to the question (cooperating with the efl request) was proper legalese speak.

They could have pushed him to say has it been submitted but I suppose that Talksport don't want to burn bridges by being too harsh...it's all very pally.

I'm sure the producers will be giving Bob Mills an earful after he pleaded for them to stop playing it all out publicly via the media as they'll be loving it from a commercial point of view.
