I'm no expert but assume it will be hard to claim anything against Nimer and getting him to courtWhere on earth will Elliot get the money to fund a full trial? I doubt we will hear anything more from him (but he might from us!).I believe all three objectives will now be achieved.1. Farnell out of our club2. Farnell out of football3. Farnell struck off
Wouldn't put it past Farnell though, he's in tatters post all this.20 -

What a brilliant day for the club and fans alike, and so a new chapter begins.
Might be a new chapter for me if I cannot come up with a decent excuse for my boss as to why I vanished off the face of the earth from 2pm on wards today!10 -

Surely the SRA have got to take notice of that.
Let's get the bastard struck off.6 -

I would assume they will focus on getting the proceeds of the sale via court action now. Maybe Nimer will want to get the deal done quick and disappear, crook that he is. It is poetic that these scumbags fight each other, but we can't celebrate until they are all gone.2

Even if Elliott wins his trial in November who is going to pay him? He's got no hope of finding Nimer and getting money off him through a court in the UAE.3 - Sponsored links:

I'm not sure whether to believe all this. Strangely, it's not on the official site yet. I know the IT guy isn't on furlough anymore though because there's a report of the Wimbledon game. Couldn't be that MM has come over all shy and embarrassed, could it?4

What a superb outcome. Many congratulations to Lauren Kreamer and all those who have fought for our club, either publicly or by investigating and compiling information behind the scenes and to those who have kept it going from within.
Let's not pretend though that Messers Nimer or Mihail provided anything but obstacles to why we got ourselves into this position. They landed us here with a sham acquisition, a shoddy and poorly documented sale agreement and then produced inadequate and inaccurate evidence for the big day. We got over the line because of good advocacy from Ms Kreamer, the fact that in law an injunction is a terrifically high bar because of the potential harm that can result and our fantastic community of supporters which influenced the judge's view on balancing merits.
Let's hope this is a significant step towards supporting a viable, sustainable, charitable, transparent, united and ENJOYABLE football club once again. Please get it done Mr Sandgaard!55 -
MM needs to get the deal done an F off with Nimer now.7

Nothing to stop Nimer selling to the turks!?0

Elliot needs permission to appeal. The trial judge can grant permission but if he refuses Elliot would have to apply directly to the Court of Appeal for permission to appeal. IF, and it’s a big IF, he got permission to appeal then almost certainly there would be a concurrent application to prevent any sale until the appeal is heard, probably several months. In other words a successful application to appeal could result in effectively an injunction via the back door preventing any sale until the appeal is heard. Bearing in mind the judges words about potential prejudice to Charlton in delaying any sale it is highly unlikely he will grant permission to appeal.7

Do they have a price agreed or EFL approval?

Elliott taking this to the Court of Appeal is La La Land. Even if he does. It isn't happening this week. And if it doesn't happen this week, the chances are he is left chasing what he always was... money (albeit in this instance by litigating against a bent sheikh resident in a notoriously difficult jurisdiction to recover funds from).11

Obviously that's she's a fan makes her doubly good, but I'm sure they wouldn't have chosen her if she wasn't right for the case
The Charlton fanbase never ceases to amaze. When we're in desperate need somebody with the right skills always steps up and makes a difference.
