Was there a particular reason we are playing today rather than yesterday?

It's being specially beamed into the living rooms of Manchester with Jim Bowen going......."look what you could have won".

    Super Smashing Great
  • ValleyPass doing some mic tests before going live @ 2:30pm

Audio coverage sounds like its back to normal so far
  • Barker back in over Lapslie, LB must rate him

  • The sooner we get Deji out of that CB position the better for me.
  • I know Gilbey is injured but pleased he has changed the midfield three from Doncaster. JFC & Morgan both were very poor.

Let’s hope we don’t go 1-0 down as concerned that we don’t have any goal scoring options on the bench.

Attacking team but still madness JW cannot get into a L1 team.
  • Pratley back in midfield 😃😃😃

Assume he will come off for Watson at some point

Glad Amos is being given a run in goal. Phillips needs to think about what he wants from his future.
  • Lincoln unchanged from their 2-1 win over MK Dons

I'd have given him a bit of time out after that own goal, bringing him back in against Brighton - He must be impressing in training

Dont forget with the embargo lifted there was nothing to stop Bowyer from selecting Mingi etc. ahead of him

OS says 4-3-3 or 4-4-2, so if not the above it’ll probably be

    Amos
    Barker Oshilaja Famewo Purrington
    Oztumer Pratley Levitt Doughty
    Bonne Washington
  • Strange side IMO. Bowyer doesn't seem to be a fan of Albie or Williams

    He can't do 90 minutes.
Bowyer prefers him as an impact sub with about 30 minutes to go.

It's odd, he's too good for this level and should be one of the first names on the teamsheet.

Not only that, but despite his lack of experience, Barker is at least a defender. Lapslie isn't.

Big ask of Deji, with a raw 17 year old one side of him and a young unknown CB just signed, on his other side.

But with 3 CBs in the side, it does give flexibility to switch to 3 at the back. Bowyer likes to have that choice, if needed.

The way they organise that list gives me a headache

Numerical order except the GK? Why?

Just go GK DF MF ST then in numerical order ffs

Think you've got it spot on there Scoham. Those were the two formations I worked out whilst walking the dogs.

I'd rather see the 442, and if it's 433, of rather see Doughty on the left.

Exactly. He's more use off the bench. And if he does start and then gets injured or tired, there's no equivalent at present.
