    Lapslie seems desperate to be RM. He gives away an offside, which is fortunate as his pass from the ball to him went straight to a Btn player.

    Its a shame no one is really staking their claim for the first team - As Greg Stubley said at the start, this is the sort of game (like Forest Green) where the likes of Morgan should be stamping their dominance on the game.

    End of the day its not a competition we should be bothered about yet its a chance for us to treat it as our own U23s being involved and for them to show they're good enough for the senior gam

    Half-time here at The Valley. Not been a bad half by any means, but 1-0 down at the break. The goal was all luck and Charlton have had much more of the ball.
    Not quite playing quick enough and really struggling to link the midfield and attack.
