Summer Transfer Rumours 2020 (DEADLINE DAY from pg.258)

Having seen both play multiple times, Oztumer is a better player than Shinnie.I thought we shifted out Oz and Lapslie to make room for a much better player?2
-
I'd be happy with Shinnie, Smyth and a young striker on loan. No out and out striker and I'll be underwhelmed.0
-
Strikers need service. We now have a LOT of service. I wouldn't be surprised if someone who's previously been goal-shy - Washington, Bogle, Smyth etc - scores an absolute hatful this season6

Having said that, Ransom tweeted it first, and he's also highly reliable, so if both are pushing it then it's obviously true.
I don't see how a non league side can turn down a 6 figure fee in the current climate. It could pay their wage bill for months.4 -

We have 3 loan players already. If we bring 3 in today, we need one to be a permanent signing1
-
I'm being really negative today, but I was so excited for a proper deadline day, these players feel like compromises to me3

Experience like that will be vital.0 -
Must admit I’m underwhelmed with all the names mentioned.2
-
Shinnie is an attacking midfielder who has scored 6 goals in the league in 92 appearances for Luton. That's about the same as Nabby Sarr.3

Smyth will be a risk... Shinnie will be a typical Powell signing from 2011
Thats the type of player that we need to get us promoted
People cant handle us signing solid players from Luton on twitter but are happy with us bringing in an untested kid from Boreham Wood?19 -

Love this, really feel that we are seeing Bowyer craft the team the kind of team that he wants - seems clear that the emphasis is on experience, which seems like a very good idea.

Some of your lot are mad. Talking about underwhelmed etc.
1. We are a league one club with a salary cap.
2. We have missed most of the transfer window due to ownership.
3. There is not this pool of proven attacking talent out there we can just pick up and sign.
Anyone that comes in i'm happy with. Everyone improves under Bowyer.74 -

Otzumer did have a tendency to get blown off the ball.
I think we know Bowyers thinking about this season if it happens.1 -
Both sound very much squad players rather than starters, hope there is one more who sounds a bit exciting.0

He is at the start of a hot streak.0 -
Would it be SO terrible to have Conor Washington as our main man, if he starts firing? I reckon he'll be our top scorer1

KiwiValley said:Tangential question: If I get a basic ValleyPass subscription does it give me access to delayed extended highlights for every game? and how soon after the match are the highlights available? (NB: picture of no relevance and simply used to get someone's attention)
Well it's a million percent (if such a thing existed) YES from me.
Good bloody grief who is she ?0 -
When people talk about wanting a “20 goal striker” they want another Taylor or Wright-Philips. Worth pointing out that neither player had scored 20 goals in a season at League One level before joining us. Nicky Ajose had scored 20 goals at this level before signing for us, be careful what you wish for...28
-
Am I right in thinking we can still sign players out of contract after today? If so we may still be have space in the squad and room on the budget for this.0
-
He got sent off against us in the 3-1 home win back in 2018, he was part of the Luton team that won League One that year. A solid signing if it comes off.1
-
I understand the limitations but I thought we would adequately replace Bonne when he left.I think we got a good price for him but doesn’t look that smart now that we haven’t been able to spend it.3
