He must plan the route for Valley Away coaches.killerandflash said:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Lovell_(Welsh_footballer)

Letting Steve King go in favour of himself was a shocking decision, especially as Goldberg had to end up employing new managers anyway. Welling's loss was Dartford's gain!1

A right back who ended up being a very good striker.killerandflash said:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Lovell_(Welsh_footballer)

The National League season is at risk of being called off this week following talks between the league and the Department of Culture, Media and Sport over funding, Jack Pitt-Brooke and Philip Buckingham can reveal.
Mark Ives, the league’s interim general manager, has called a meeting with clubs on Wednesday where he is expected to break the bad news that there will be no more government grant money for the second half of the season.
The majority of clubs in the National League North and South are expected to insist that their seasons cannot continue without extra help, raising the prospect of the seasons being declared void before the half-way point.

Stockport County up to 4th in National League after win at Dagenham. Would be great to get back in Football league.2

Not looking good for Welling, 4 points adrift at the bottom. They've got games in hand but probably won't amount to much given the way they're playing.0

Provided the season doesnt get called off... Wont be surprised if that happens with the National League and belowDaveMehmet said:Not looking good for Welling, 4 points adrift at the bottom. They've got games in hand but probably won't amount to much given the way they're playing.0 -
Need the season to be void and start again next season ... either that or catch Braintree which is possibleDaveMehmet said:Not looking good for Welling, 4 points adrift at the bottom. They've got games in hand but probably won't amount to much given the way they're playing.0 -

Blimey! How long did Di Canio get? He only shoved the ref over - it still makes me laugh!

The Kettering guy only got a yellow for the incident but got the second yellow for dissent

How did the ref only give a yellow for the slap???0

Ref should have dived to the floor clutching his face

Wouldn't worry about Welling there is no way the leagues below will be finished so no chance of relegation this year. Last season was null and voided with 7 games to play this season most teams have only played 9 league games.

Lol, so its gone from "hitting" the ref to a girly slap looking at that video.2

Yeah, can't see the season being completed, which is just as well. Braintree won at Maidstone last night.stonemuse said:

The ref tried to keep his feet, it took about five minutes for him to eventually fall over.

The leagues below the Isthmian are very keen to try and keep the season alive with restructures.Extending the season till the end of May and teams playing each other only once are options. I think these are good ideas and hopefully measures will be put in place to enable this to happen.Promotion and relegation will be very difficult but I think the important thing is for football to resume and clubs get some much needed money in.3

Ha, I had to watch it twice to even see the "slap".eaststandmike said:Lol, so its gone from "hitting" the ref to a girly slap looking at that video.2 -
The Football Association are looking into Tuesday's FA Trophy tie between Kettering Town and Leamington which ended at 23:22 GMT, with 3-0 losers Kettering down to eight men.
A two-hour delay for floodlight failure added to already frayed tempers, which led to three red cards.

National League clubs have been given three options regarding their season after being told loans were the only source of government funding available.
On Wednesday, National League interim general manager Mark Ives presented clubs with three choices.
He said they could access individual loans, share a central loan paid to the National League, or suspend the season.
The latter option is viewed as a last resort given clubs have already received £10m of UK government funding.
That grant funding has now expired and further grants have been ruled out, unless in exceptional circumstances.

This has been an extremely difficult decision for the Club’s Board to take and not a decision taken lightly. The decision is not results based but is centred around culture.clive said:
