Watson is so much better on the ball than Pratley

And we're back. Wigan attacking down our left but end up putting the ball out for a goal kick due to a bit of confusion over a player coming back from an offside position.

Its taken over 15 mins before we got in their half
  • Still don’t understand albie not getting a look in, he would do well in this midfield 3 with Watson and JFC.
Yeah that arsenal loanee pisstaker ain't fit to clean Albie's boots

Smith either overhits the cross or plays a long ball to Millar who's not quite where he thought he was, and fouls his marker in his attempts to get it.

Now Matthews crosses into the Wigan box but it's headed away.

If Millar had a final ball in him, he’d be playing top end of championship

Much more positive foward passing, more direct, not long.  A real positive

Excellent tracking back from Washington there - that's the work rate that's been missing recently.

Ottobor takes the ball past Matthews, but he blocks the cross for a corner from our right.

Smith showing great composure so far, the kind of composure I have expected from the rest
That is what you should expect from an Arsenal midfielder.

Asgaard takes, Matthews heads clear, but Asgaard gets it back and drives into the box, but Millar blocks for another corner.

Spanners 1 down at home to Preston (Ched Evans).
  • Matthews' recovery pace on show again.
Staying closer to the winger too, unlike last week

This time the corner's taken and we look in all sorts of trouble for a second but the ref blows up for a block on Amos.

I wonder if he is a relative of Saandgaard?
